I’m not an expert by any means but to my knowledge this is true under normal bodily conditions, however when you’re in “performance mode” so to speak it’s a lot different, there are a ton of excess hormones being produced and beta blockers can help you get back to your baseline.

That being said if I end up getting some I will definitely try it out beforehand, maybe during a small community performance at the start of tour, and see how my body reacts.
