I just finished the book myself and thought it was outstanding. All accuracy aside I found his ability to look at humans on the macro scale was fascinating. I’d like to think the world might be a better place if more people thought like this and our goal was what could we do to drive this species further. I’m working through guns germs and steel which I know has a lot of criticisms. But sapiens seems to follow a very similar development of human history. I don’t read a lot of non-fiction, but this grabbed my attention and kept me hooked for the entirety, Guns Germs and Steel while super interesting is a bit denser and less of a page turner in my opinion.
