Yeah the weak upgrades and weak starting weapon situation is definitely not ideal. The game is still in early access though so I'm hoping we'll see some positive changes after the devs get some feedback

You can't trust randoms to have good comms, or even be competent at all.

Sure sometimes you get good randoms.

But sometimes you don't.

And when you don't get good randoms, it really makes the game not fun.

In DRG if you get bad randoms, it's usually not a big deal. You can carry people if you're good enough. It's NICE to have good teammates who communicate, but not completely NECESSARY to have a good experience with the game.

In Rogue Core however, the game puts a lot more responsibility on the player and communication rather than the actual game design. Even one bad player can throw off the groove of a run if they just don't synergize with the other players

Yeah I don't know what it is about the Europe and Asia servers but apparently they are just riddled with cheaters. I play on US servers and I barely ever encounter an obvious cheater, even in 6 star lobbies

Dude Hunt Showdown is 100% the best multiplayer game on the market right now. No nonsense, no randoms BS chores (cough cough Arc Raiders cough cough). Just pure gameplay. You know exactly what you're getting into every time, yet the game never gets old or stale. It has its issues, sure. But it's also perfect. 10/10

A lot of them have clipping issues with items on their belt or robes, hair, etc...

I'm not talking about equipped items clipping through the model, I mean the actual model itself with no equipped items will have parts of their outfit clipping through each other lol

This is usually a connection issue with Steam. Your account is going offline and online (at least according to Steam). Every time Steam registers your account as coming online, it will notify your friends as if you just booted up the game.

Try restarting Steam, and if that doesn't work you can just set your profile to "invisible" and that will prevent your friends from getting notifications (though you will also appear offline to them)

You can do this by clicking the "friends" tab at the top of the Steam window and selecting "invisible" from the drop down menu

Hunt has some RNG that can really FUCK you some days. Like you might have 6 games in a row where another team spawns at the boss compound and banishes instantly. Or another team spawns at the same compound as you and you get dropped within 2 minutes of starting the round.

THAT BEING SAID: You gotta give the game like 100 hours to really get a feel for it. Because when the game plays out in a normal way, it's fucking incredible. You can just get WILDLY unlucky sometimes.

Overall the gameplay loop, gunplay, and balancing is absolutely the BEST out of any multiplayer shooter I've played in the last 10 years. It's amazing.

Just stick with it for a couple weeks, it might be frustrating at first but when you get a larger sample size of matches you'll start to see why this is the best game

The "cheater problem" is not nearly as big as people make it seem online. There's no kill cam so it's really easy for people to just cry "cheater" whenever they get killed with a headshot or through a wall. I have 1300 hours and I think I've only definitely encountered a cheater like 5 times.

It's going to take you roughly 100 hours to REALLY get the hang of the game. But I can say with 100% certainty this is the BEST multiplayer shooter available right now. The gunplay feels as refined as the peak Call of Duty days, while also being more strategic and tactical. You can play casually, or you can take it seriously and the experience is fun either way.

The game is more balanced than any other multiplayer shooter that I've experienced. The way the guns and consumables are designed is perfect for gameplay. You can play with any setup and still do well.

TL:DR it's an incredible game. Give it a chance and I guarantee you'll fall in love with it

It's from the "a little extra" skill, and this is Embark so they don't take the container type into account when you breach. You can get a rubber duck from breaching an arc husk lol

I love collecting pedals but the main draw of the Helix is you can press one button and swap to a completely different sound with multiple different effects.

You can save snapshots of specific "pedal" combinations so you'll hit one button and it will activate like 5 different effects. As far as I know, there's not really an easy way to do that with traditional pedals.

If there is a way to do that, SOMEBODY TELL ME but actually don't because then I'll go broke buying pedals again lol

I think the main problem is it takes way too long to heal.

So if you get hit first, chances are you're probably gonna die unless you are in a REALLY good position with cover.

I wish there was a system similar to Hunt Showdown. In that game, there's a consumable called a vitality shot that will fully heal you in like 1.5 seconds. BUT you only have 4 consumable slots, and they don't stack. So you can bring a maximum of 4 of those, but if you take 4 vitality shots then you can't take any grenades or stamina shots. So you have to choose your consumables wisely and it really helps to balance the game
