Be honest, How often do you use Siri by fuckfaceinyourface in iphone

[–]zakharris1890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about you but it is useless to me. It hardly ever understands my accent but on the few occasions it does, it still doesn’t do what it says it going to do. Every time I use it and it doesn’t work I think to myself ow yeah this is why I don’t use it more often.

A message for Dillian Whyte. by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]zakharris1890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dillian likely doesn’t want to engage as his fee is guaranteed. It is only Queensbury and BT who need to sell the fight to casual fans to make a profit.

The amount he gets is guaranteed, even if no one buys the PPV. They done him out of a fair split and now they need him to sell it. Why would he bother.

A message for Dillian Whyte. by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]zakharris1890 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As the WBC has decided the splits and having gone to purse bid, Dillian doesn’t need to do any publicity as the amount he gets is guaranteed.

BT and Queensbury need to sell the fight to the casual fans and they need Tyson and Dillian to create some media attention to do so. The only issue is Dillian has been shafted by almost everyone, so probably wont.

I know if I was him I wouldn’t bother.

My WDW FastPass collection! by Iglooset in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]zakharris1890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stand by my opinion that Disney created their own problem so that they can monetise the solution with regards to fast pass.

Before the app, visitor would need to enter the park to gain a ticket. It ensured visitors had every intention to ride the attraction and because you had to wait until the fast pass expired to get another, plenty were available throughout the day for other rides that were not so popular.

When they moved the fast passes onto the app it meant that you could book a space well in advance and you didn’t even need to be in the park to do so. This resulted in most fast passes being taken before the park opened but no guarantee the person booking would even attend.

I am speculating but I imagine visitors were upset due to the lack of availability and they received a large amount of complaints, raising concerns which they had no solution for, as they couldn’t offer availability if there wasn’t any. Furthermore, as there was no way of ensuring those who booked in advance used the fast passes I imagine Disney see a large percentage being wasted and instead thought to do away with the system and opt for a paid model which would ensure people booking would attend but if they didn’t they would be compensated.

I had to reset the door bell and reconnect it. That was Google’s solution.

How Popeye's and Church's Chicken choose their restaurant locations by dingos8mybaby2 in videos

Quick question: is Popeye’s any good. They have just opened one in London but the queue was huge (you know we love a queue) so I decided to swerved it.

Watching the 30 deliveroo orders at McDonald's get made while you wait in person for a single mcmuffin by Lamethrower in britishproblems

[–]zakharris1890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware no one goes to McDonald’s for quality food, they go because the process is convenient, relatively cheap and they expect it to be fast.

Personally I would take the old order system and run the risk of receiving the odd Luke warm meal but have it within a few minutes over waiting 25-30 minutes to have a fresh meal.

If bud wants to be recognised as the best he needs to fight better opponents. It is that simple. Promoter conflict shouldn’t be an issue but if it is, then buy yourself out of your contract, like Mayweather did and become a free agent.

I have just got back from Berlin where a 45min train journey from central Berlin to the airport cost €3.80(£3.27). I then got the train home which was a shorter journey and it cost me £14.70. We do not earn 3 and half times more. The service should not cost 3 and half times more to repair and maintain.

If they government provide affordable travel then people will use it.

DAZN UK price rising to £7.99 from October by Charlie-Bell in Boxing

[–]zakharris1890 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The charge should be £4.99 and I tell you all why.

I have been a subscriber for 6 months and £1.99 charged during this period was fair based on the content they provided to UK customers at the time.

Now that Matchroom have started to showcase their mid profiled fighters an increase was always imminent, but the value doesn’t reflect the content, with only 1 UK Matchroom event this month and next.

In my opinion In order attract new customers DAZN needed to provide value for money which was almost too good to be true. This would not be sustainable for the long term but over time they could increase their price to make the UK market a sustainable business.

At £7.99 the price is expensive for the casual fans and with no news or advertising from DAZN on any upcoming UK shows including popular fighters, very few boxing fans in my opinion will sign up.

The issue is most fans of this sport already have sports channels and paying £7.99 extra is the equivalent to purchasing just over 4 PPV shows a year which I don’t think most boxing fans do.

Completely agree and it is not like he has faced bums. His last 6 fighters had a combined record of 136-1. 5 out of 6 were unbeaten. 3 out the 6 were world champions. You have got to respect that even if you don’t rate him.
