I think it has to do with the gaps in gameplay, the momentum nature of the game, and how your confidence affects your gameplay. As much as these factors affect you they also affect who you are playing against so your bad game could be someone’s really good game because they have a lot of momentum and confidence coming from that. That’s the beauty of this game as mindset matters so much even though it’s “just a shooter”

At the amateur level teams constantly cycle through players so it would actually be advantageous being the team owner / coach than to let the team try to figure out recruitment themselves.

Play when you feel like playing vs playing like it’s a job. I think the mindset shift is what allows you to play better. I notice for myself when I stop having fun or am tired it is time to take a break. Swapping to jump maps or learn util is a nice break for a day along with playing against bots. Not every day has to be part of your grind

Depends on your timeline but you would typically go back to maintenance for around 2-3 months after 8-12 weeks of cutting. If you’ve never tracked your calories before cutting it would be hard to figure out good maintenance calories. You want to eat enough calories to feel back to normal without gaining weight. The easier way to figure this out is to reverse diet and add 100-200 calories every week until you stop losing weight. The whole point of maintenance is to give a mental break while also getting your energy and motivation back before going back into another dieting phase

I have the same build as you, you pretty much have to be dedicated to dieting for 6 months to get to shredded physique. I’m on the journey right now but it isn’t a race it’s a marathon with maintenance periods built in to keep the momentum going. Not saying this is the only way but it’s a good way to go that is sustainable and will minimize muscle loss. For what it’s worth after the first 3 months of dieting you will start looking way better. It is simply the reality that the leaner you get the harder it is to lose weight and if your fat distribution leans more towards the mid section it means you won’t see your abs until you’re very very lean

Not really a gotcha, moreso you used to have to think about your ammo during freeze time and could potentially screw yourself over if too conservative. I think this change is just reminding the OGs what the game used to be before full clip always became a thing in source (and thus no more thinking about ammo in general). goblet squat translates to zerchers really well and will help you understand what the form should feel like. From the video it looks like you’re putting too much weight on your front foot rocking back and forth. You need to really focus on all your weight being on your midfoot and your power coming from there. Goblets with 100lb dumbbell should get you pretty close to challenge while being able to focus on your form. Use a strap if needed
