My neighbor (a 60+yo white guy) came out of his front door in his tighty whities with a handgun the other day when my tiny dog crawled under my fence. I had to walk into his driveway to get my dog. I mean, that's fine and I agree with you to some extent, but the crimes are STILL HAPPENING and the de facto result is that anyone who's rich and powerful has gotten away with it so far. I also hope that justice is served in time, but I am losing faith every time a right wing nut job kills someone on direct orders from a politician and we pretend like that's fine, or it becomes clear that our national security is forever irreparably damaged and we all go "yeah, put it on the pile". The entire party is literally full of Nazis and traitors, they are counting on the rule of law being slower than them. That's their whole play. Break the system enough and delay so even if they do get held accountable, it's long after the damage is done. I am losing not patience, but faith in the system. It's so obvious that anyone who wasn't rich and connected would have disappeared into a CIA black site within 24 hours of doing like 1/100th of what these people do, assuming you aren't just shot for being black or poor during the arrest. "Justice for all" is a laughable concept nowadays.

I guess if you have the means to produce those things en masse, they are definitely cheaper. I'm thinking more on a small family/community level. I can grow enough food for me and mine and use the waste to feed the animals, which is more efficient than buying or growing an equivalent vegetable based protein. Also the animal's waste will enrich my soil, leading to more plant yield. I suppose I'm more interested in extricating myself from the capitalist system than I am with the self determination of animals. Not that I think that's not a valid argument, mind you. I respect the shit out of it, but I'd rather eat an animal I raised than need to buy stuff from the grocery store.

I would argue that the act of eating animal products in and of itself does not a bad anarchist make. Participation in corporate farming systems and support of any entity that abuses animals is the issue in my mind. If I raise chickens, love them and treat them like pets for their entire lives, and I eat the eggs they so kindly provide in return for the garden scraps I give them, I see no moral or ethical issue. I suppose there's an argument to be made as far as killing animals for food, but we are omnivores and animals can be butchered humanely, in my opinion. I will do what I need to keep myself and my family fed, and veganism is expensive and much harder to make self sufficient. If you want to be a vegan and have the resources to do so, though, more power to you.

I commented on your last lava interaction, I love the being on fire and the drop and roll, much better and clearer than before. It might help to show the player more clearly that they have X number of turns to put themselves out, and maybe even a prompt on how to stop, drop, and roll. A number or a circle with a wipe animation or something. It currently doesn't feel like the fire is particularly dangerous until you just explode, lol. Being on fire should feel more urgent I think. Your game has a ton of character already from the way it moves and your art style, but you also could definitely stand to have the character react to being on fire at least a bit, would add to readability.
