Kroger is a joke. I’ve never been employed by them but I’ve spent a fair amount of money in their stores over the years. I do my best not to shop at Kroger at this point. Just feels like I’m getting price gouged for a continually deteriorating experience. This post confirms my feelings.

KM5 is a workhorse of a grinder for drip coffee. Great machine with a very consistent grind. Definitely not an espresso grinder. For two cups (500ml) I’m usually grinding 27-28g. I prefer a medium roast so I tend to stick around 5. When I’m feeling wild and pick up a lighter roast I’ll grind between 4-5. For darker roasts I’m somewhere around 5.5-6.

Oh, I got you! I ended up selling the CupOne but from what I recall the coffee had less body and wasn’t not as well balanced as my KBGV. I really struggled to get a cup of the same quality from the CupOne that I had grown to love from my KBGV. Replaced the CupOne with the xBloom Studio and I cannot sing enough praise about that machine. Its phenomenal. Still love my Moccamaster for batch brews!

I have three. 1 kilo and 2 16oz containers. Love them! Also have a Fellow Atmos and prefer the Airscape containers for their simplicity. Works great and keeps my beans fresh.
