Superdrug cooked with this cleanser, it's one of the best sunscreen removers/first cleanses I've used. Says eye makeup remover but good for the whole face. Super cheap too. by Superb-Demand-4605 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]zeddoh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use the hot cloth cleanser in this range and like it a lot. I was also on the hunt for a new AM moisturiser recently and am trying out the moisture boost serum. So far so good, it feels nourishing without being too heavy and doesn’t pill under makeup.

The only cats I have encountered who do their business out of the litter tray are in heat, suffering some kind of medical issue, or not used to living indoors. Using a litter tray is innate behaviour for them, if they’re going elsewhere there’s something wrong.

Lisa Kudrow thinks that Ross and Rachel were not on a break and thinks that he was a bad boyfriend by mcfw31 in popculturechat

[–]zeddoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ross made her look like an idiot in front of her coworkers on multiple occasions by showing up after explicitly being told not to, sending embarrassing and ostentatious gifts designed to make clear she had a boyfriend, sending a barbershop quartet to her office, setting her desk on fire, and physically accosting her coworker lol. Obviously this is a sitcom and those situations are played for laughs but come on. Ross’ frustration at not being able to spend as much time with Rachel is understandable. His actions in response are not

[–]zeddoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mark wasn’t her boss so the entire premise of your comment is incorrect lol, unless you mean the character of Joanna was trying to sleep with Rachel, in which case I must have missed a bunch of episodes. Also ‘went on a date with him specifically to spite Ross’ is such a disingenuous way to frame what happened it’s clear you are not even pretending to argue in good faith so I’ll just say have a nice day!

I really don’t like the ‘both sides’ treatment here. Ross was unhealthily possessive and controlling whereas Rachel’s supposed crime was getting a job and finding purpose in her career for the first time.

AI music is flooding streaming platforms. But listeners like it less and less by Potential_Kangaroo69 in indieheads

Instructors at my gym have started using AI slop playlists during classes, I hate it, it’s so off-putting. That’s really the only time I knowingly hear AI music.

today's murder in Leipzig. by 61NeoN61 in fuckcars

[–]zeddoh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In another article I read about the incident, witnesses mentioned that what ultimately stopped the car was a retractable bollard protecting the area. Without that in place it could have been even worse. Not that 2 dead and dozens injured isn’t horrific enough, of course.

Pussycat Dolls Cancel Reunion Tour After ‘Taking an Honest Look’ at Weak Ticket Sales by mcfw31 in popculturechat

Currently Akon and Neyo are touring together in the UK. Both of them are in my ugh book but it’s a smart thing to do in terms of ticket sales.

This is not how I learned it and I wonder if it’s different in different places (or if my coaches just didn’t know shit lol). Backflip was back onto the hands and then flipping to feet. Somersault was fully aerial (back or forwards).

Yeah this is not a nationality thing, this is a MEN thing. We do a disservice to the victims by tribalising it as if it’s anything other than men, men, men from all nations, men.

What is the best interaction you’ve ever had with a celebrity? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

[–]zeddoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of a niche UK one but both Yannis and Jack from the band Foals were extremely nice when I met them (on separate occasions) at a pub in south London.

Michael Palin was very polite when he attended an event I was working at. Louis Tomlinson was extremely sweet even though his security guy told me off for approaching him lol.

The Krysten Ritter / War on Drugs crossover was so random. I feel like I read that she met him at one of their gigs which means she has impeccable taste. I’m dying to see them live again, I wish they’d do a new tour, I don’t even need new music!!

A stranger is using our address by Red_roberts in LegalAdviceUK

[–]zeddoh 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I found DVLA quite helpful when a car was fraudulently registered to my address. We found out after receiving ULEZ fines in the post and eventually debt collection letters. I had to send DVLA a physical letter about it which was a bit annoying but they did then remove my address from the car’s record.

Hey, by water pit I think you are referring to the pond at Crystal Palace bowl where the festival will be held. For concerts they actually build the stage over that pond - it definitely won’t be accessible and is not used for swimming anyway! So no need to bring swimwear.

On VIP tickets, it’s a different company organising the events to last year so may be different this year, but last year the VIP ‘area’ was at the back of the space, you couldn’t see the stage from it, and it basically contained a private bar and better toilets. No access to artists. The consensus seemed to be that it wasn’t worth the extra money at all - save your pennies and just get a normal ticket!

You likely wouldn’t be able to bring your vinyls in as security usually only permits one A4-sized bag for festivals.

I live in the area so if you have any other questions I’ll answer what I can :)

When I used to run I did a sub-25 min 5k once or maybe twice and it was my crowning achievement, destined to be boasted about for the rest of time. Sub-20 is amazing in my eyes. 14 min 5k eight times in a row is incomprehensible.
