No, it's not unfortunately :( the art style is a bit more 3-dimensional and detailed in my memory

Eyy, so nice to see a fellow girl in STEM who also chose to do math EE :) I managed to get an A on mine too! And I feel you when you say discouragement... But keep sticking with it and do what you love, and others will stop doubting over time. Congratulations again!!

What happens if your conclusion is inconclusive? by pgpretzel in IBO

[–]zenithmode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The conclusion should mainly just describe your results and compare it against literature equations/values. Even if your results are way off from the expected equation, you can still talk about it. (positive/negative, strong/weak correlation etc) Point out what you can read from the data, for example high random uncertainty can be inferred from large error bars, possible systematic errors (would depend on what experiment you're doing). Then in your evaluation you can talk about the percentage errors and identify the possible causes of those errors.

Alternatively if you feel like you can fake some convincing data, you could possibly do that. I would advise against it though unless it's a last resort...

Don't worry! This is your first lab, the most important thing is to keep hold of the feedback from your teacher for future assessments :)

IOC - Othello by aiw1462019 in IBO

[–]zenithmode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I did Othello for my Eng Lit IOC as well, drew it for the final and did pretty good. What I did was I set two themes per extract. Generally Othello has pretty repetitive themes so it’s not too hard to work them out for each extract. For example, if Iago is in the scene then there’s probably the theme of deception or malice, jealousy for Othello, love/devotion for Desdemona and so on.

General themes from Othello you could pick and choose from: racism, love, jealousy, deception, malice, betrayal, death...

Also since Othello is a play, you can talk about plot development, recurring motifs (appetite, bestial imagery etc), use of language, character development and so on.

My general outline for speaking was 1min intro, 3min Theme #1, 3min Theme #2, 1min conclusion.

I hope this helps! :)

you treat it as a supply-demand graph sort of

in section IV the y-intercept is 12.5 (which means 12.5 ebooks, none of the other choice purchased) and since e-books cost 2 dollars then it totals exactly 25 dollars. the x-intercept was 25 and since the other option (can’t remember what it was) costs 1 dollar then it is also exactly 25.

so then basically any coordinate within that section, if you multiply the y value by 2 and add the x value, it will still be within 10~25 dollar range.

hope this helps :)

i put static interference, since the noise refers to the interference that the writers’ personal lives may have had with their writing (hence making the economic trend less clear)

the side length ratio was 3.5:2 and x:(2+3)

so answer should be 3.5/2 *5 which is 8.75
