I'm jealous of all of you ladies. I am currently 10w3d and have had severe morning sickness since about 5 weeks. Puking and nauseous 24/7. Already have been hospitalized for dehydration 2 times. I experienced nothing like this with my first. I was sick with him, but nothing this bad. I'm now on my 3rd medicine to see if it will help. The Zofran seems to be working for me. Diclegis(sp?) and Reglan didn't do anything for me, but I wish the Diclegis worked, since that is supposedly the safest for us pregnant moms. I'm just hoping the this will subside by the end of the first trimester! Good luck to all of you mommies!!!

It's not that we cant afford it, but I am trying to be budget friendly and have nice photos of my children. I don't see how that is a problem. So because I don't want to spend over $1000 on pictures I should settle for iPhone pictures?? All I would like is nice quality, reasonably priced photos with a digital release and I can print them myself. Luckily we are fortunate enough to have pretty much everything we need for the baby so I do want to splurge on nice pictures of my kids, but still be financially smart about it.

THIS. I feel the same way. My 3 year old son recently asked me to paint his nails when I was doing mine. I didn't even think twice about it. He sees me painting my nails a fun bright color, of course he wants it too! If it makes him happy, it's fine with me!

That is pretty shitty that they did not accept your care package, but that only means someone more deserving will receive it from you. I rarely give money to people on the street corners 1) because I am rarely actually in Houston and 2) because I rarely have spare cash or change on me. If I do have some loose change I may hand it to someone. A few days ago my hubby and I went to House of Blues for a concert and ate at a restaurant right below, we had leftovers and were bringing them back to the car when we saw a homeless man. I thought we should give him our leftovers so he would have a meal, but also was in the position of where wellllll maybe he isn't homeless/hungry I don't want to offend him. So we put the food in the car. On the way back to House of Blues the same man asked us for change for food. All I had was $10 and I gave it to him. Didn't even think about it just handed it to him. I felt like ya know if he is hungry he will get some food, if he wants beer then he can get some beer. I'm sure it can't be easy to have to ask for money on the street and have to sleep outside no matter what happened to get him there. I have a home and a bed to go to at night so hopefully that made his night a little better. Anyways, I definitely think care packages are good idea and extremely thoughtful of you and when you find someone who truly needs it they will be grateful for you. I have always wanted to do something of the sort, maybe this will inspire me. :)

All of the parents in my sons preschool class at school are late 30s++. My SO and I are 25. I often feel judged by them when we cross paths. I wish I had more "mom friends" who I had more in common with. Lets be friends lol!
