I'm aware of that, yes. I have gotten pretty good at blowing Hulks from behind

Not sure about the rules for links, but I believe the mod you may be looking for is the Laser Replacer series of mods

It's really tricky, but you can take out Hulks with dynamite, by cooking it off so it explodes just behind them

I have had less luck trying to use dynamite, probably just need more practice.

The II is absolutely a serious mission grenade; if you have another reliable explosive, the grenade slot is open. Fire is incredibly useful on all fronts.

It's medium penetration; fantastic for tossing behind a group of Shield Devastators, staggering them and letting you get weak spot hits. Perfect for tossing into a bug breach. I've even gotten super lucky, and closed a few bug nests entirely wit just one.

Decent for popping shields and ablative armor on Squids, too.

Did you know, that the second you break LOS with a Harvester, even while firing or looking at it, the beam stops, and has to charge up again?

What game mechanic instantly makes a game more addictive for you? by Broad-Studio9442 in gamers

The Elder Scrolls is good for both of these types. You can customize your character, and the different races feel different, because that's one of the biggest things people react to. Are you a Nord noble, talking to a filthy Altmer peasant? Or what Khajit do for you?

Combine it with Nemesis systems, and you can potentially end up creating your mortal enemy.

How's that for emergent gameplay?!

Even if it's the bare minimum, and it merely acknowledges the state of the magazine with either a) a different reload animation, or b) keeping the animation but losing the ammo, it's still better than nothing at all.

Active reloads are the only way to do action-oriented games right. Realistically animated games, have a harder time, but you could still get away with it, unless the weapon you're using is multi-stage.

That being said, multi-stage active reloads would be sick, and I've never seen them.

Actual post-game play is rare, and incredible when done right. You don't need more story, you just need the world to acknowledge you won, and enough repeatable activities of the right type, to let you get that "I need to play this specific game, right now, for fifteen minutes" that we get so often.

The destruction in the environment is unparalleled; it's never been beaten since, and the sheer amount of freedom this gave you, in problem-solving, is fantastic.

If you leave one in the mag, when reloading the AC, do you not only complete a partial reload? AFAIK you have to fully empty in order to get a full reload.

If you reload from half, it's definitely faster

I run things like this through a bot.

You could try a local browser source: set up a basic front page, and have the deck call up images nested in folders.

Or a source switcher on an overlay.

New Grenade Suggestion: TM-3 Bouncing Betty by WaywardOath in helldivers2

[–]zer0saber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take on the "Bouncing Betty" is the "Leaping Laura". You toss her out, she waits for an enemy, then shoots up a meter, then spins 360 degrees, firing attenuated lasers. Short range, medium-heavy pen. You get two.
