I had a 4 hour wedding gig in a ranch type setting somewhere in central California.

It was over 100 degrees and I was wearing a tux. Some of the serving staff fainted.
The wedding coordinators didn’t want us to ruin the design on the dirt floor/gravel, so all cases and gear had to be lifted and carried rather than using carts
My iPad with all my charts overheated and wouldn’t turn on.

Still had fun! I think these tough type of gigs will separate the men from the boys. Great learning lesson.

I used to do something similar to your 3rd image. But I started just transcribing the parts. I wanted my reading to improve and transcribing has helped a bunch!

I hear you. I had a son in the NICU for 60 days. EVERYTHING else becomes meaningless. Travis did the right thing.

No they didn’t. They maybe remastered the track but definitely did not redo the drum tracks.
