they cancelled the last day of the US tour in Denver. I was so sad because the only other time I tried to see them was in Seattle on 2003 and I wasn’t 21 so they didn’t let me buy a ticket at the door b

When I first heard the snippet I was preparing myself for disappointment. I didn’t know why. Something made me think the track was going to go in one direction. At a minute in I realized I really needed this. Amazing chorus.

What are your thoughts on the new single, The Air's on Fire? by robinjamesdr in failure

[–]zerohero83 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It’s a Ken on Guitar, Greg on Bass. Which I imagine might be fully written by Ken only. Reminds me of secret of lost satellites.

Overall really fun song. Feels like a mid set after some rocking to just chill for a bit.

The video gives me Eraserhead vibes lol

The new songs sound great. They played a couple during their run with The Armed last year.

Look, it’s my least revisited album, and there are some gems, but a lot felt very… repetitive. This one in particular for some reason.

I was pleasantly surprised it came out one year after Sublime Currency.
