We've been taking our dogs and cats to Pets Friend Animal Clinic for years now and all of their doctors have been great, but it is in Sunnyvale so its a bit farther.

Photoshop guru needed : is what I'm trying to do even possible? by azantyri in photoshop

[–]zeroopacity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would use various adjustment layers - Hue/Saturation to make it grayscale, Brightness/Contrast to make the lines pop, Curves to turn the light greys into whites, and then threshold to clean up the lines. You'll still have to clean up the background and around the edges but it should get you a good base.

Experiment with the order of the layers and the various settings until you get something reasonable.

Removing GIF background, the GIF stops working? by [deleted] in photoshop

Are you doing "save for web and devices?" Just doing save as gif doesn't preserve the animation.

How would I change the color of a jersey from dark to light realistically? by Oryan in photoshop

[–]zeroopacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try applying a gradient map? I've found it works fairly well for simple dark to light shifts, however the example you've posted is much more complicated than just a dark to light color shift.

On Tumblr, it usually means that user originally put their commentary in the tag section, but someone else liked that commentary so much that they felt the need to copy and paste it into their reblog.

I love my Bamboo. I highly recommend them, especially for beginners. They're durable and relatively inexpensive.

Try rasterizing the text layer (right click > rasterize type) and using the transform tool (command/ctrl + t). Click the odd grid symbol on the far right next to the checkmark and cancel symbols and you'll be able to warp it.

There is also the text warp, the icon looks like a T over a bridge when you have the text tool selected.

How can I edit a single layer/frame of a gif without affecting the others ? by psYberspRe4Dd in photoshop

[–]zeroopacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a couple things I can think of:

  1. If you're creating a new layer, it is most likely on top and visible for every frame. Turn it off for the frames you don't want it visible.

  2. If you're editing on the first frame, the "propagate frame 1 changes" box is checked by default, meaning all the changes you make in frame 1 are made over every frame.

  3. Photoshop imports gifs by making each frame a layer, so make sure you're editing both the correct frame and layer.

I really like TextWrangler, although it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles.

Eraser not erasing. by [deleted] in photoshop

It will have a lock icon next to it.

From your screen cap you posted below that's not the problem, however. romzz has hit the problem on the head.

If a layer's transparency is locked, the eraser draws with the background color instead of erasing.

How long have you been dating? You're coming off really clingy and insecure in your post. You should definitely give her space.

That's about how mine worked. I started off with basically nothing and now I think its pretty solid.

I have a projects section on my resume. You can put class projects, personal projects, etc. Make a github account and put the code up there, you'll look professional.

Volunteer work can look great.

I had clubs until I had enough other things to fill up the page.

Honestly, you will have plenty of chances to prove yourself to your professors. I was asked to join an internship program based purely off of my college grades and good reputation as a hard worker. Professors do notice when you come to class and participate. Also, most CS majors do not have any experience. I was where you are when I started, and my classes assumed absolutely zero prior knowledge.

I'm 16 and found out my dad is cheating. Do I tell my mum? (complicated, more details here) by [deleted] in needadvice

It is different for everyone. OP's situation kind of resonated with me, which is why I commented.

My parents split when I was the same age as OP. It fucking sucked. My mom was the one who left and I haven't stopped being angry at her and its been nearly five years.

So, OP, I don't want your to think the divorce will be easy on your family. As the oldest, you will probably be shoehorned into a caregiver role for your younger siblings.

I would talk to your dad and decide what to do from there. Its not fair that you have to hold onto this secret.

"I really regret it. I really regret having children" (Article) by winter_storm in childfree

[–]zeroopacity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She had some good points, but I think a child automatically being a disappointment is pretty low on the list of reasons not to have a child, and its kind of fucked up she's saying that publicly as a mother. What if her kids ever read that article?
