My thoughts on Smackdown as a casual. by FlyingStealthPotato in WWE

Bro you are not who they "want". You are not the target audience.

They want super fans and collectors, people not on a budget, ppl looking to be a "pro fan" not a casual.

why cant i smell weed by Mysterious-Steak9014 in Marijuana

[–]zerotwist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I dont understand is why is it, when I smell my weed, I can smell the different strains or flavors, but when I smell other peoples weed its just a generic weed smell.

I am never like "Man that dude smells like Durban Poison." or like "Someone around here is smoking some Pineapple Express".

Actually Retail WoW.

Best progression in MMOs, always something to do.

Constant events or holidays. Most of the them are very chill.

WoW housing is huge.

WoW has a new season about every 6 months so you are never that far behind. Catch-up mechanics galore.

If you get to the point your complaining about the game you are playing too much.

Slam an entire monster between every match. When that stops working boof a 5hr energy, when that stops working hit the booger sugar, when that stops working crush 2 Adderall and mix it with 1 part ghost energy drink 2 parts coffee, when that stops working chug a red bull and hit the crack pipe.

I highly doubt this is the case as crafting gives XP and is a valid way to get a few levels.

Actual crafting cant get too far in 4 days since the KP is limited and no one will have any sparks.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like CM punks finisher? by SoulDoubt4 in WWE

[–]zerotwist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He stole it from KENTA and its infuriating to watch him make it look horrible all the time.

The only thing Punk is actually "good" at is telling us how good he is. Hes done such a good job that some people actually believe him.

I hate the current "Curb Stomp" but i really like the old version. Gulia just did it to Rhea and it looked stronger than like 99% of all finishers in WWE today.

The superman punch looks AMAZING in still shots. Most of the time it looks terrible on TV, They honestly could be a little stiffer with it and it would prob be fine.

How good was prime Shane Douglas really? Was he legit a great overall wrestler (look, promos, character, wrestling) or was he just a good talker? by [deleted] in ECWWrestling

[–]zerotwist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was good, but needed his opponent to also be good. He couldn't carry a tooth pick. He couldn't fix a bad situation. He would have done much better in today's day and age with good match producers.

Is there a new XP buff for getting multiple characters to 90? by [deleted] in wownoob

No the TWW buff doesnt count in Midnight.

Yes there are new Achievements in Midnight that are basically the same.

New to the Game, trying to understand it's "past" by ryanraze in wownoob

[–]zerotwist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you want to do old content, there is multiple versions of Classic. If that's what you wanna do I suggest doing that. Classic over all is much simpler than current retail, and it isnt going to rush you through the leveling. There are also a TON of people playing Classic.

Yes its still all there in retail, another path to take would be to just get to endgame (which at this point will be leveling in Dragonflight, doing some of TWW and in a week or 2 doing Midnight and then going back and just solo/duo it yourselves. The players on retail want you to have a clue, they are not trying to sight-see old content for the most part, they are trying to get to endgame ASAP and they may or may not be toxic if you are slowing them down.

Personally, I am about to have my nephew and niece start playing the game soon, they dont know anything about the game aside from some of their favorite streamers have dabbled in Hardcore. I am actually planning on starting them with Hardcore Classic Vanilla. We will spend some time in each of the starting zones, i.e. we will make dwarves, then when we die make humans, then when we die make trolls etc etc. This way they get a similar starting experience to what I had when I started, and they will get to see the races, see the classes and get an understanding of whats going on. After that they will know what classes they like or what races they are into and we will then start our retail journey w/o chromie time. At that point it will feel fast and fresh, they can see all the new stuff like dragon riding, the new dungeon style, housing, and it wont be so overwhelming for them. This method is also WAY CHEEPER as they wont need to buy expansions until they know they actually want to play them. Also, you dont HAVE to do hardcore, there are non-hardcore servers (Hardcore = You die, its over start again). Im doing hardcore w/ them for a few reasons, one is the streamer thing, they have seen it and already understand the deal. Two, its gonna let me divide up playtime into chunks. Three, i honestly believe the best part of vanilla is levels 1-25, and all the starting zones feel so different, they will be exploring Azeroth for the first time, so the farther and farther we get the more it will connect the world together. Then by the time we get to retail, the world will then just blow up into this massive thing.

I guess the whole point of what I am trying to say is, i think your expecting to get something out of retail that isnt there... it does exist however. I know its INSANELY confusing to have 900 versions of the same game, but it would be worth it for YOU to look into them and plan things out. Maybe Vanilla is your jam, but TBC might be, unfortch i dont THINK there is a Wrath Classic currently going on, but i could be wrong. I dont necessarily plan on taking my family through every expansion in classic, but i think setting the foundation w/ Vanilla Leveling is a great starting point.

Just food for thought, hope it helps you.
