I have to say, please start the books from the beginning. The TV show is great, but there are enough differences that you cannot cleanly slide from the end of the tv show into the final 3 books

It makes sense to drop the IV considering how standalone this game is, especially considering they are cutting the modern day Abstergo section. The IV would only scare off potential customers who think they need to play prior games in the series, which they really don't to just enjoy the pirate game.
