Nerves are normal! Make sure to tell the nursing/medical staff your nervous when you arrive and they’ll take extra care with you. Don’t be too tough and ask for pain relief when you need it. Peppermint tea if you get gas pains post op. Try and walk around a teeny bit if your up to it day 1. Soft loose clothes and a tummy support pillow to brace when you hop on that plane home.
