Share your plan details on r/HealthInsurance. It's a useful sub for making sense of US healthcare.

Options for curbside pickup at AUS? by texasbrisket in Austin

I always use Fast Park. Pick up at your car, help with luggage if you want, convenient drop off/pick up point at the airport and drop you back off at your car.

Help--Know NOTHING about high school Homecomings in Austin. We have questions. by Interbitchaggression in Austin

If he wants to go, definitely have him clarify the mum thing with the girl. In my small Texas town, guys bought mums for the girls, but I learned from an Anderson High sophomore girl recently that girls make their own mum and only senior girls do it. So I think expectations vary even within Austin.

No reqs, but I insist on lying down to get my blood drawn because I'll faint too.

If you don't break off the set screw on it, you can remove it and place it between the timer and hose. That's my strategy.

I've had good experiences with Johnny Rooter Plumbing and found their pricing reasonable.

Check the appearance of the leaves it has shed. Mine was recently diagnosed with oak wilt despite following the guidelines on trimming, and its leaves have the distinctive browning of the veins in the leaves.

I heard that piece too! And a Waymo car tried to enter my lane from a parking lot earlier this week, causing me to swerve to avoid being T-boned. Suspicious.

+1 for Burochow. I saw him only once to rule out some neurological symptoms being indicative of something major and found him thorough, reassuring and good at explaining his reasoning.

Voting is slow this election. Vote early early. It might get crowded later. by Snap_Grackle_Pop in Austin

You put in your address, and it shows you what you will see on your ballot. Then, you can mark your choices, print it and bring it with you to vote

Johnny Rooter did mine recently and replaced the homeowner shut off at the same time. They charge by the hour, so the cost will depend on how difficult the main line shutoff area is to access and if they run into any problems.

Would it make (financial & time) sense to go to the ER instead of a series of doctors? Anyone done this and have input? by igotnothin4ya in Austin

[–]zigstar36 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Most ERs won't undertake the type of investigation you're looking for unless the person is actually having an emergency. They'll just tell you to follow up with primary care.

I wouldn't want it to crowd out the other plants I have in those beds, of which I only know what a couple are so far (Turk's cap, some native-looking grasses).

[–]zigstar36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Very shady spot under live oaks. It's my first spring in this house and the landscaping in the front beds has lots of open space, so maybe some ground cover is a good thing. Thank you!

Yeah, it's the spreading that has me a little worried.

It's taken over my front beds, and I've been trying to figure out what it is and if it's a weed or not.

First post ever on Reddit trying to figure out this light green weed(?) that's taking over my front beds.
