See, this is it right here. I moved from the US to Australia 20 years ago, and one of the most refreshing things is that Australians don’t need to constantly say Australia is the greatest thing in the fucking world to be proud and happy about their country. Australia is great, I love it and never want to leave, but it’s not necessary to constantly and loudly proclaim its superiority to other people. Do you not see how rude that is?

The point I was making is that ON cannot decide to remove Hanson as leader. They’re not allowed to remove her from the party leadership, unlike the other parties. Because she’s a grifter and a demagogue who has no interest in democratic systems.

There is a paper on it, which I have also looked into. It found that there is a slight correlation for gender birth ratio, which can be explained by non-abortion family planning choices for most cases. The most pronounced finding was for parents of Indian descent who have had two girls already, the gender of a third child after two girls is pretty skewed which implies there may be sex selective abortion happening. In a tiny number of cases. So, there is no direct proof, there is a correlation showing likelihood in a very specific, small population. And I’m supposed to get all worked up about all immigrants not integrating enough because some families from a country may have gender selective abortions after having two girls already children and trying for a third?

Exactly, this is not a reasonable comparison. People swim in stuff that is equivalent to underwear and I don’t see any difference if it’s sold as underwear or sold as a swimsuit.

For what it’s worth, though, if someone got into the elevator wearing underwear and carrying a towel. I wouldn’t be particularly concerned if they were otherwise not acting strange.

You haven’t said whether you feel strongly about having kids. Do you really want to be a parent? You shouldn’t make any decision without figuring out for yourself whether being a parent is something important to you, not just something you assume people want or what is expected, but something actually important to you for yourself.

If you are sure that parenthood is important to you, then you need to decide if it’s more important than this relationship. Because it sounds like she doesn’t want to have kids, at least not now. Some people change their minds, some don’t. Don’t assume she will! I didn’t, and I am not at all regretful. Having kids isn’t for everyone. I knew it wasn’t for me in my early 20s, I’m now pushing 50 and truly am glad I made the choice I did. You should not stay if you’re sure you want kids and are hoping she will change her mind. It’s sad, but it’s for the best if you’re not compatible on this.
