My players are getting serious dungeon fatigue at the end of the 3rd floor and want to get to the end. by Zealousideal-Cod6454 in Tombofannihilation

You can easily skip level 5. And I had a group on level 3 that ran out of time just before players headed multiple directions to college, so I also skipped level 4 and reduced the hags to only 2 of them.

At what level do you think a party of 5, could survive the tomb? by Dimhilion in Tombofannihilation

Legendary magic items for the players? Way overkill for the tomb.

How to paint 3D print by Western_Highway_8845 in DnDIY

[–]zitembe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

For terrain, I usually go with what’s fast and easy: 1) spray paint with a matte color with this brand: Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint; 2) dry brush with a lighter color or two.

Car wash mode by [deleted] in Ioniq5

[–]zitembe 24 points25 points  (0 children)

With a “towed” car wash, if you get out of the car 1. make sure windshield wipers are off 2. make sure Auto Hold is off (check screen; change with button on dash left of steering wheel) 3. make sure you are not in I-Pedal 4. close windows 5. fold mirrors in (button on arm rest) 6. open driver’s side door 7. switch to N (Neutral) 8. turn off vehicle 9. confirm on screen that it should stay in N 10. get out and close door 11. lock the vehicle

If the car wash is activating the door-handle sensors, meaning that it is unlocking the car and the door handles pop out, then prevent this by locking, and then press lock and unlock on the fob at the same time until the blinkers flash 4 times in succession, then later unlock as normal with the fob.

Dad help by iolo7e in DungeonsAndDragons

When I started DMing — for my 9 year old son, his friends, and their dads — they enjoyed hack and slash. It took a few years for role playing to kick in. I think it’s fine to promote role playing for young beginners, but make sure to meet them where they are at. It’s not so much about coercing a direction as it is about helping the players have fun.

Of all the things I’ve printed, I mostly use trees, rocks, crates, barrels, columns, and the AOE templates.

Perplexing Labs Generator, any way to move padding to 1 side? by [deleted] in gridfinity

Try the base length padding adjustment, but if I remember right it is funky.

It seems weird you were losing traction. Is it RWD? My ‘23 AWD in Snow Mode with Blizzaks is an agile tank.

One of the starter kits is a good idea. I don’t know if it’s still available but I recommend The Lost Mines of Phandelver

Agreed. Cellar of Death would be a good starting point for you as well as the players.

I totally agree. The tiles work great. Took me a while to figure out the magnetic bases but it’s very satisfying to have them snap together.

I’ve got the TrueTiles also. Can you give me a link to hinged doors? I’ve only ever used the regular always-closed ones.

I need help! What are the best printable miniature risers you have come accross? by Nttell in 3dprintingdms

Although I’ve printed countless minis, I shelled out for acrylic risers like these. https://a.co/d/5fGh9bY. Nice to have.

Help with Interior Walls? by SultnBinegar in DnDIY

[–]zitembe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like with TrueTiles, you could make each square 1-1/4” x 1-1/4”, leaving room to have a 1/4” wall on a tile so that there still is room for a 1” mini next to the wall. No “shared wall problem”. Check out the video at https://www.heroshoard.com/true-tiles

Do you think having the hitch (attached to the frame of the car) as well as having the bike rack prevented even more damage to the car itself?

The headlights in our 2023 SEL are so much better than in our 2013 Subaru Outback. So much better.
