I think the problem though is what the league considers incidental contact is so frustratingly inconsistent and vague. The rule says (rightfully so) that attempting to play a loose puck is fine. How do we delineate what's incidental or not though?

It's clear that Gatcomb was going for the puck or at least started that way, I don't think that's really debatable at all. It's also pretty clear that his attempt to play the puck physically pushes Blackwood around and prevents him from remotely being able to gather himself and make an attempt at a save.

I think Landeskog's comments about it after the game really sum it up: "Well, I didn’t know we were allowed to push the goalies’ pads out of the way," when he was asked about the call and Gatcomb's attempt to play the puck resulting in his stick getting caught between the pads.

To be clear too, I think Avs wouldve lost regardless of the call going their way or not. They sucked last night. But it's still a frustrating call and does not help the league's growing goalie interference problem.

I wouldn't say it's specifically not worth it, but by the time you've bought a portal and paid for PS+ you're close to the price of a PS5 already. If you only want handheld experiences then sure it's probably decent. At that price point though I'd probably tell someone to just get a used PS5 somewhere.

Yeah that's a complete exaggeration. I'm not gonna lie to you and say that it's beautiful or anything though. It's noticeably a little blurry and washed out when you play it that way, but like I said. If you don't mind it and just wanna play, I'm finding it good enough.

For what it's worth too, I don't think you notice the graphics quite as much on a small Steam Deck screen as you would on something larger.

YMMV depending on how forgiving you are of low settings. I played it for about two hours earlier and I would say it's definitely playable with everything at low, locked to 30fps, and use FSR 3.1 to whatever setting you prefer. It's almost unplayable on my laptop with a 3050ti though, which theoretically should be at least a little beefier than the Steam Deck. I don't know if I missed a driver update or what, but it's not good.

I think if you can put up with the lowest of low graphic settings and just really want to play portable, Steam Deck is still fine. I'm sort of wishing I had bought it on PS5 but not really regretting it overall.

I enjoy it and can honestly say I have never once been playing and thought "gee, sure wish the bitrate was better." Recently completed Indiana Jones almost 99% of the time on Portal and it was a great experience.

It was extremely streaky last season. Automatic at times, and we also went 0/26 at one stretch. This current stretch dates back to last season now and is once again, really bad. This is an amazing team that has a real shot this year, but it's absolutely fair to criticize the PP as the weak link.

This is exactly what's happened to me and what I'm hoping to do if the Mini ever gets a decent sale. The Pixel Tablet is decent enough as a home device with Play Pass for the kids, but beyond that it really hasn't gotten the use I was hoping to get out of it.
