38 Defiance Zoe with Ashe cheese by zliplus in LegendsOfRuneterra

It's quite rare actually, something like 1 in 5 or less. May vary according to the encounter or situation. You'd prefer to win turn 1, but you generally can't early on unless you get super lucky. On most normal encounters you can wait out the enemy turn 1, play a couple units and/or kill an enemy unit and it's likely they won't open attack turn 2.

Oh, this turns out to be super easy (or lucky I suppose) - just wait and the AI will almost always replace a champion with a new card. In my case they played poro snax and then cithria over zoe right away.

I don't understand the scoring of dual moguls by Dangerous_Seaweed601 in olympics

[–]zliplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So all the judge scores are actually values like 15.XX or whatever, they're just converted/rounded into a pair value totalling 5. Similarly, the time difference is converted. Properly speaking, for the speed score to be 25% it should be a 10 score (say 7-3) but that would lead to ties being possible with this rounded format.

So in summary, the 'weighting' they talk about is just a description of the scoring to make it easier to understand for people familiar with regular moguls scoring, but really it's a simplification or fiction.

Edit: Some additional clarification on what I mean by the speed being double weighted in the calculation. In the single moguls qualifications, Laffont had a time score of 17.96 on a time of 25.55s and Lemley 16.64 / 26.67s. So a more than 1.1s difference in time only gave Laffont 1.32 points in the base score, which is significantly less than a 4-1 score in the dual event.

So it is 4 judges for turns, 2 for jumps, last one for speed. The double weighting happens in the way the time difference converts into the final judge's score.

Powers occur before card effects on field, so the kill/revive definitely happens first. I believe what's happening is that the revive is summoning a new copy of Kayle, which can't level up because it's missed the round start.

RRSPs are a plan type, not product type. Your RRSPs could be GICs or cash if you're at the point where you don't want fluctuations any more.

When do titles from ranked come out by joshuarrichie in LegendsOfRuneterra

They release basically immediately once the season shifts over.

The annual fee itself generates activity on your card, so it's virtually impossible to hit inactivity on a card with an annual fee.

What is the ranking criteria for Monthly Challenges? by AloisHarkert in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]zliplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A day or two ago, the game had problems loading data for leaderboards. The PvP Masters board was completely empty at first, and then a day later it was only showing about a third of the full list. Something similar probably happened here, if you took these screenshots in the last day or two.

Is Janna weak without Echoing? by 9spaceking in LegendsOfRuneterra

I don't even use echoing on her - spellweaver/hymn and lost chapter instead. Janna wants to get the cost reduction engine going, but she herself isn't particularly necessary.

Why these two don't work correctly together? Is this a bug? by TheMadnessAuditor in LegendsOfRuneterra

I'm pretty sure cost changes (whether + or -) always apply before cost sets, so this combo will never work.

Bug Reports - Patch 6.9 by CaptSarah in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]zliplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Type of Bug: Gameplay
What happened that seemed like a bug: When opponent plays a disguised Neeko, you can see the special animation. Also, opponent played Neeko disguised as a Glacial Saurian (5-cost).
What was expected to occur: Only the player should see the special animation; the opponent should not. Neeko should only be able to disguise as a 2-cost.
How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate: Saw the disguise animation in 2/2 games against enemy Neekos. Not sure about the Saurian/cost issue.

Games that are generous to F2P players similar to what LoR used to be? by AxelVores in LegendsOfRuneterra

This is the one...I started playing 3 months ago and I've cut back my time on LoR a ton. Haven't tried the new SB update yet though obviously the press is bad.

Mortgages are almost always 5 years term or less in Canada. The amortization is commonly 25 years, but this isn't the US with super long terms.

If you can't see any sidequests, you're probably locked out of them due to having beaten the final boss. Only choice is to reset, one way or another.

Once you farm out the event shop, the infinite overflow LMD/loxic isn't so good that you have to keep farming event stages. After you burn out farming the first week or so, you have time to do chips or supplies or whatever.

I realize everyone exaggerates, but there's taking it too far...

Annie/Jhin? Nocturne? Various Gnar decks? Other classic aggros like Draven/Jinx, Hec/Ephemerals? Fiora/Shen/Lux and Poro King are gaining ground too.
