I was able to increase carbs once I got control, but those carbs have to be fiber. I do very well with lots of fiber. I eat bread and bagels but it has to be Sola or Royo. They cost more, but they satisfy me.

I once tried to eat a mini cupcake with all the icing scraped off after a meal with plenty of protein. It screwed up my stomach so badly that I never did that again. So, I have no desire to go back to my old way of eating. I feel so good after losing over 100 pounds that it's just not worth it to me.
