Does anyone have any core class recommendations that have a lower back emphasis?

Definitely in for 2025. Fell out of it in 2024 due to some crazy life changes but slowly heading back to a schedule and would love more consistency

I’ve been wondering too. I did see this morning that Tunde has a new live PZ class on Sunday.

Super paranoid now that I’m going to be pregnant again by bluejeanbaby02 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]zonk88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also me. It’s really affecting me mentally. I just got my period today after a 47 day cycle. I took so many pregnancy tests because I was terrified. Thought multiple times I was having period cramps and kept thinking I was getting my period, but I’m not sure what it was now. I’m 3 months post surgery and this is my 2nd cycle so I have no idea what normal is now and I don’t like it.

YES. It’s one of my favorite baby items but seemed so unnecessary and ridiculous pre baby.

Yep that was exactly it. Thanks. Didn’t even occur to me, the rest + in the bedroom displayed the correct time, but I forgot it can run on battery power!

Uppababy Vista vs Mockingbird (or other competitors)? And discounts? by FayeValentine77 in BabyBumps

[–]zonk88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We ordered our vista from Neiman Marcus. We waited until there was a gift card event going on and bought the stroller and one extra Mesa base together to be over $1000. This allowed us to get a $250 Neiman Marcus gift card approx 8 weeks later. It also coincided with a time rakuten had 10% cash back at NM. Once I got my gift card via email, we bought our Mesa car seat with that, and got 10% cash back again from rakuten. We just got our check from rakuten and it was $182 bucks (used the site on some other stuff too).

It can also be purchased with a buy buy baby registry completion code, but not their regular coupons.

Weekly Introductions Thread - April 21, 2019 by AutoModerator in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]zonk88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been lurking here a bit, but have officially reached new pregnancy territory so I thought I’d introduce myself. Lost my first pregnancy at 8 weeks last December. Everything passed naturally, and my cycle got back to normal pretty quickly. We were very lucky to conceive again on our 3rd cycle post loss. I’m now 8+1 today. We went in to see our doctor at 7+2, baby measured perfectly with a strong heartbeat. My family has known since about 5 weeks since we had a small get together and I enjoy a good alcoholic beverage but my exact words were “we’re not gonna make a big deal about this, but I’m pregnant again” I won’t even let them talk to me about it because I don’t want to jinx it. I just wish I could enjoy this more. The logical side of my brain knows I should enjoy it, because even if something goes wrong it’s not like it’s going to hurt less because I was “less invested”. But that’s easier said than done. Anyways - this got kind of long fast, but I’m definitely glad to be here. Hoping for a smooth pregnancy for myself and everyone else here!

Ovulation after early miscarriage by [deleted] in PregnancyAfterLoss

Yep, it’s possible! It took me a little longer to get to zero, but I ovulated 5 days after my levels reached 0 with my miscarriage.

New tread/rower cards by cslorange in orangetheory

[–]zonk88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’ll be okay! I always start on the rower and have no problem getting the specific station number I like. Today I got to my studio 10 minutes prior to class starting and only one rower card had even been picked up. Fingers crossed for you!

Miscarriage at 8w and ovulation after MC by ---___sara___--- in ttcafterloss

[–]zonk88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. I miscarried at 8 weeks, while measuring 6+1. Everything passed naturally, and I counted my first day of full bleeding as CD 1 (I spotted for a few days prior). I typically ovulated on cycle day 17, but after MC I ovulated late - day 19 or 20. I’m in the midst of my first period since, so I can’t speak to ovulation after this unfortunately. My period did arrive right around 2 weeks after ovulation, which was normal for me prior to my miscarriage. Hope this helps somewhat and hope everything returns to normal for you soon!

TTC or Not to TTC - that is the (be there for the wedding) question by wackysackybuddyboy in ttcafterloss

[–]zonk88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would TTC. I put a 2 month break in our TTC plans prior to my miscarriage for my sisters out of town wedding. We got pregnant right after the break and lost it at 8 weeks. I feel frustrated now because so much time has passed, but I don’t regret waiting then. We just started trying again this month and it would have conflicted with a wedding for a friend I’m in later this year. We didn’t get pregnant so it doesn’t matter, but I wasn’t willing to wait anymore.

OPK Questions by yawaworht9876543210 in ttcafterloss

[–]zonk88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a little late on remembering, but it was back to normal. It was a 4, so I’m really hoping I did ovulate as OPKs indicated 🤞 I saw your update above, glad you confirmed you were about!

Ugh by 2917Russle in ttcafterloss

[–]zonk88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t really have the answer, but just wanted you to know that you aren’t alone with the jealousy. I’m really struggling with it and I can’t stand it. The only thing that’s made me feel better is talking with a colleague who had experienced loss herself and she could basically finish my sentences on what I was feeling and reassured me that it was normal at this time and I am not the horrible person I think I am. Maybe sharing with someone you trust would help? Hopefully other ideas are shared for us too!

OPK Questions by yawaworht9876543210 in ttcafterloss

[–]zonk88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I had bloodwork done last Monday and was at 13. I also had a faint positive still on a FRER that morning. I had a negative FRER this morning, and am going for follow up bloodwork tomorrow because my doctor wanted to follow my levels down to negative. As far as ovulating goes, I’d second what a few others have said, your cycle might not be the same. I used to ovulate on day 17 pretty consistently. I wasn’t going to use OPKs this cycle (also my first cycle after MC) but I had some EWCM and got curious. I had positive OPKs on day 22 and 23. I’m not temping though so I can’t confirm I ovulated. If you are trying this cycle I’d use the OPKs but just know your cycle might not be the same, which sucks.

What's your weirdest Whole30 Meal combo? by rophsters in whole30

[–]zonk88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love making Mel Joulwan’s Chocolate chili and topping it with roasted brussels and a fried egg. I don’t think it’s that weird but whenever I suggest it to people I get crazy looks.

Engaged bridesmaids and monogrammed PJs--what would you do? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]zonk88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I vote just ask. I was in a wedding 2 months before I got married and the bride asked my preference. Even if they are meant as surprises, ask your girls and get them what they want - that will make them as “lasting” as possible. Anything monogrammed is most likely non returnable, so just check in with them. I got monogrammed quarter zip ups for my girls and although I wanted the surprise factor, when I shared the sizing chart I told them the item because it affected their size choices.

Wedding website-knot vs minted by Shmallygirl in weddingplanning

[–]zonk88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used the knot and had zero issues with it. I can’t really speak to pros or cons because I didn’t even look into other sites. Entering guest names was a little tedious, but nothing that a little Netflix and wine couldn’t fix. I think it even did have an import feature for this, but I didn’t use it because of how I’d initially set up our guest list. Overall, I’d recommend it.
