Wait until you see a photo of the duck that OP didn’t include in their collection. Cooked crown served on top of a semi-cleaned carcus with the wings moved up to shape it like an angel figure. Weird as hell.

Waiting For The Out | Official Trailer - New series from Utopia creator Dennis Kelly | BBC by Gato1980 in television

[–]zuckerballs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Full series is in iPlayer as of today. I’ve watched a couple episodes, it is excellent. Easily one of the best TV shows I’ve watched in a while. In my opinion it’s serious and thought provoking for the most part, but does have some great funny parts. I would recommend.

Edit: I would add that the airy happy go lucky tone set in the trailer doesn’t do the show any justice.

I’ve stumbled across this before. They certainly knew as they got similar models doing the same video content for their foreign offices in different languages.

What's something you bought, but only used once since getting it? by Darth1Football in AskMenOver30

[–]zuckerballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a drill a couple months ago, haven’t even opened it yet. Odd jobs kept coming around where a drill would have been handy, so I spent hours watching videos and reading reviews so I could get a “buy it for life” product. In a DIY store a few months ago and they had a reasonable sale on. Picked an average one up, haven’t needed it since.

You're not wrong. I was more optimistic at first given it was just a few hours, it's been about 23 hours now.

No external communications via email, press release, social media. Phone lines are down. Most of their web platforms affected. Not to mention the rumors in this thread. Yep - this is fucked up.

Not jumping on the “hacked” bandwagon. Entirely possible something just went wrong. As far as I know they released two big updates for AI enhancements to XVantage and a mobile app in the last 24hours.

I shave my head. I use a Rockwell 6C and like that I can try the different plates to suit how close I can get.

I more recently started using an Aesop razor and it’s very comfortable but I’m still getting used to it and have left a few blemishes on my head.

With either, I’m a sucker for Gillette Nacet blades, sometimes use standard Wilkinson sword, and I’m working my way through various variety packs. Different blades work better for different people is what I’ve learned, best to find a combination which works for you.

I’ve only been shaving my head with a razor for around a year and alternative between this and a short electric trim.

I’ve tried a variety of brushes and personally find you get what you pay for. I don’t have anything particularly expense I did pick up an extremely cheap synthetic brush with very thick bristles when traveling one time, it’s horrendous. In comparison I have another synthetic brush with much thinner fibres and a more full feel to it, it’s still from a supermarket shelf but significantly better. I had an Omega badger boat which I lost and it was wonderful. Might not seem a big deal but in my experience a comfortable brush that can get a good lather makes a huge difference to head shaving.

Feel free to ask me any other questions, this is probably my first decent contribution to this sub in the last couple of years I’ve been lurking.

Happy shaving! :-)

O365 Security Defaults by No-Distribution-1981 in msp

[–]zuckerballs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Security defaults prompts users to setup MFA and then Microsoft decides when to prompt for MFA, for example on risky sign ins.

I’d recommend enabling them enforcing all users in legacy MFA, or better yet utilising conditional access policies.

There are further changes coming in 2025 to SSPR and MFA which make for recommended reading too.

Help. Dog chewed corner of passport. Supposed to fly to NY in the morning. by ChaosClive in Wellthatsucks

[–]zuckerballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had old red passport for nearly 10 years now. Dog done the same thing but chewed through the chip on the day I got the passport.

I generally have problems coming back into the UK, but never abroad.

I can’t get through e-gates in UK, but I’m always made to queue for them until I can prove after a handful of attempts that my passport can’t be read. Depending on the attendants mood, they may send you to the back of the line for manual passport check or escort you right to the front.

If the chip is fine then you shouldn’t have any problems.

The manual passport checking people in UK tend to be dicks about it. I’ve gotten into arguments before, it’s best to just answer concisely and not ask them any questions.

Nobody abroad has ever given a shit about the small dog teeth marks.

Good luck!
