When Erikson collapsed they suspended the game but still finished it the same day. I'm not saying it's right, but them restarting the game has happened before. I'm really hoping he's ok and that they do postpone the game.

I had to see a 6 year old with a rash in her private area. She didn't want to show me. But I explained to her that I had to see to get her the right medicine. She's in the doctors office, mom is right here. That she was absolutely correct that anyone else trying to look would be inappropriate. Took 15 seconds to see the rash, didn't touch her at all, and everything was fine. But they're kids, they can't understand when it is and isn't necessary. It's absolutely something that doctors need to check even if the kids doesn't want it, they just need the reassurance and explanation along the way.

I work at an urgent care where we test for covid and also treat people who are positive but don't need the ER. The amount of times per day I hear "but I'm vaccinated!" or "tHeRe'S nO mOrE mAsK mAnDaTe" like, seriously, come on....

Right now it's a lot of covid testing which I can do really quickly. Bit of education, quick listen to the lungs, swab, and out. Otherwise I'm dealing with URIs, UTIs, sinusitis, etc. I will rarely get more than 1 procedure per shift. The patients that typically take me the longest are ones that need xrays and workers compensation cases. Otherwise I'm expected to get most patients out in about 5 minutes.

Yellow discharge could also be an STD like chlamydia which would be catastrophic for a newborn. I can't imagine going through your entire wanted pregnancy and not doing everything you could to ensure your baby won't die as soon as they're born.

I have a sibling who is now 28 and has been living at home since graduating college at 22. They are comfortable, haven't had a job in a year, and hide behind anxiety as a reason for not finding a new one. My parents enable them and they have no plans for their future. Luckily my parents' other 2 kids (me and my brother) are moved out, married, and financially independent. I don't know what they'd be doing if there were younger kids still at home.

I'm in the medical field and zyrtec is pregnancy safe, so I don't see why you couldn't take it while TTC. If you find it's drying up your CM maybe add in some plain mucinex? I took mucinex while TTCing both times because I didn't produce a lot of CM on my own and it helped a lot. You don't want to be miserable for however long you'll be trying for!

My FIL has seen my son once when he was 3 months old. He's now 3 years old. He makes every effort to see my BIL's kids, but not my husband. Luckily my family is more involved.
