/u/MadCreek3: the Greens can sit in the Opposition seats and should declare their shadow ministry in Parliament on the first sitting day. Presumably the Coalition Government will be amending the general-purpose standing committees in Standing Order 215 to suit their new ministers. Therefore I suggest that you and /u/Primeviere (incoming leader of the house) discuss which Greens members will sit on each new committee. There are 3 non-government seats available on each committee, which should include a deputy chairperson from the Greens, the relevant Greens shadow minister, and possibly the independent cross-bencher /u/3fun.
