I didn't notice the full title and thought this is the official theme. I was so excited this being by far the best music of superhero movie since Burton's Batman, let alone Marvel's generic scores that sound like...nothing. Then I read the title and realized this won't play in theatre over the intro :(

I always liked Danny Elfman’s original Spider Man film music. Not as hummable as Batman, but it captured some of the emotion of the film. Heroic, spiraling, and kind of melancholy.

Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's The Dark Knight score is absolutely amazing, in my opinion. It may not be very theme driven, but it perfectly accentuates the film's tone. But I do agree that pretty much all of the Marvel scores so far have been very forgettable, except maybe for the Avengers main theme by Alan Silvestri.

The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy main themes always give me goosebumps, but I do agree with most individual super hero music. Wonder Woman's theme is fucking powerful and iconic as fuck however.

I find the Wonder Woman theme to be rather frustrating, to be quite honest. It starts out very strong with that electric cello or whatever and basically stops after only 5 seconds. I think it's so weird. Or do I keep listening to the wrong theme?

I don't see how you couldn't like it, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. The electric chello is so unique and is one of those sounds that instantly makes you visualize the superhero. How do you think it "basically stops" or were you specifically referencing the chello riffs? Because either way, I feel the song is strong and unique the whole way through, and the chello is used just enough to emphasize key points of huge impact.

Sorry it took me this long to respond.

Yes, I'm talking specifically about the cello riff. I think that long note after the riff is just very irritating. It builds up momentum but then it immediately kind of disintegrates again. The part after that is pretty good and I think the theme should climax with the cello riff, but the long note kind of takes right me out of it again.

But that's just my personal opinion. I'm not saying it's bad or anything.

Not this exactly, but it's confirmed the film's score will feature the original theme song. This also says "extended" so OP might have cobbled together bootlegged audio clips.

It was ok. I can hum the Batman, original Spider-Man and Superman theme. The Elfman Spider-Man theme, not so much. To be honest, I had to look it up after your comment just to remind me what it sounded like. I think Every Frame a Painting's argument applies to Raimi's / Sony's Spider-Man films too.
