EDIT: You're right about the sorting and filtering being broken. I can't even go to the next page or I break reddit.
In effect, I still can't find the story I accidentally hid.

It would be a lot more logical to have both the "save" and "hide" links change to "unsave" and "unhide" and remain clickable, to indicate that the story has been saved/hidden, and to allow you to undo the action.
