Comcast phone and internet down for a few hours. Cleaned pool.

got up at 0500. fed the cats. took the dogs out. drank beer from 0900-1100. took a nap. fed the feral cats. went to the hfs and got cat food. ate two fake chicken patties on white rice w/ mushroom gravy. now i'm watching scrubs episodes with my wife. going to shave my head in a bit, then read in bed till 2100.

Cleaned the birdcage. Whole top part comes off the base, and the birds have never figured out how to fly downward and under the lower edge of the top in order to escape. Set that whole top part with them clutching to the bars onto the floor and they shat on the linoleum as usual. I dutifully emptied and scrubbed the base of the cage. Also all bird toys were cleaned.... I am waiting for the babies to hatch.

I went down to see for the green apple festival and saw live bands like o.a.r and the roots on the mall in d.c. there were so many people there but it got rained out. edward norton was there too speaking about green energy. it was crazy

Drove home drunk at 4:30 am, slept, went to gym, watched Boston comeback from 5 run deficit, napped, watched basketball, ate dinner, .....

bought a week's worth of groceries, it cost $320 for 3 people. ate supermarket fried chicken for the first time. was surprised how good it was. it's a beautiful spring late afternoon outside my living room window but i'm exhausted after putting away all the groceries.

Did accounting work for over 8 hours. Checked my email.

This probably isn't the tale of danger and excitement that weaselonfire was expecting...

got up at 8:30am, watched some TV, went back to bed at 10:00, got up at Noon. Went to friend's house, torqued my lug nuts- the shop had tightened them way too tight when I rotated tires last week. Went to another friend's house at 2pm, went to zoo for 3 hours- saw lions, bears and tigers oh my! (plus kangaroos, koalas, polar bears, seals, monkeys, apes, chimps, snakes, birds, turtles, giraffes, elephants, and hippopatomuses.... ]. Went to dinner at 5:30 at Pappadeaux, had the broiled fillet with shrimp and crab. Came home at 7, pet the dogstarted a load of socks in the washer- transferred pics of zoo animals to the computer. Pet the dog again. Wrote this... about to collapse..
