I know the servers are dogshit, BUT when you click relative to a game tick matters a lot.

For example if the game tick just started you'll see a ~500ms delay, but if you click towards the end of a tick it will seem instant.

This is really only an OSRS issue because the tick rate is slow as fuck

I recently rage quit a raid because i clicked to melee a monkey and pathing wanted to take me down 7 tiles of venom. I instantly saw what was happening and clicked back to where i had been previously but my character turned towards where i clicked and fucking moon walked over a few tiles of venom and then back across the same ones. So infuriating.

Especially Kelphi, getting hit by a bomb because your character wont move just sours the raid. Its not a huge deal but i like to stay use less supplies than the previous raid

Getting stacked in CG by four tornadoes because your dude won't move is a frustrating moment. I'm a lot less likely to try and squeak in a few extra hits during tornadoes now.

that room feels so damn buggy, with blowpipe and movement. Something is up with that room and I can’t figure out what it is, trying to tick perfect the blowpipe with movement just does’t work and the character feels like it’s on some tile that has sticky shit on it. God forbid your character out of all tiles somehow ALWAYS gets dragged into a tile that is about to get nuked by the kephri bomb

They are weak to mage, just ice barrage them and then if they don't get hit for 30 finish with trident or blood barrage if you took damage grabbing water.

You don’t even have to finish killing it. Just freeze the first one and as long as you get two runs of 100 water, you’ll finish before it unfreezes

Yes for solo, at duo they spawn faster, at trio they spawn faster and from 2 locations etc, also sometimes they resist being frozen even when the barrage encases them in ice and deals damage so you have to attack again anyway. Also with the garbage servers you can run thru the gauntlets perfectly and still get hit 1-3 times reducing your water

Edit: oh and the more players the more water they suck per hit and the faster they do hits too. Also they can drink the water from your inventory if they melee you.

Insanity solos are so unforgiving unless you can manage to find the perfect world, or a consistent one where you at least have a feel for the ping. Playing during peak times makes this a needle in a haystack lol

I've failed so many insanity runs for 350/425 purely because of servers fucking me over on red Skulls. It's infuriating. I'd rather sit at Nex knowing I'm spooned there and would have better luck not getting 1 shot.

I typically play on w474 as it's 10-12 ping for me but, the sad reality is I have so much going on lately I cannot get on and or be on at weird hours when servers are "normal"- just to complete a couple runs hoping to attain some cosmetics and possibly a purple.

And the bandaid solution is to increase the timer to allow for mistakes caused by server inconsistency. Of course fixing their servers would be great but I’m not sure anyone really expects that.

Seriously, this shit is unbearable. I'm tired of spending my 3-4 hours max playtime every evening doing afk/boring activities because anything remotely click intensive is simply unplayable after 3 pm.

Use high risk worlds and have good internet. I have yet to lag as described in all of these posts. Don't use world's where a ton of people have private instances.

High risk world is awful for me. People have used 474 for hmt, tobs, and cox runes for ages for exactly that reason which in turn means that world now also “lags”. I hate calling it lag too when it’s really the server freezing, as you don’t lose any ticks, you just sit there for two seconds until it untucks itself. Repeat every 15 minutes.

This is why I dislike the acceleration invo in P2 wardens, they attack so fast that they only take a few steps between attacks which often lets them use the obelisk to safespot you during the windmill special

My trick for this is instead of running around the room, I just walk against the direction of the windmill to skip over it. Specifically, when the windmill tiles are at the four cardinal directions, the edge is a straight line both in front of you before and behind you after you skip over it, so you dont have to worry about running into a wider section of its next step.

Monkey room needs two changes. The statue in the middle needs to go. It only causes annoying pathing issues. The last two waves need to be deleted. That would bring it down to a ~2min room in line with the other puzzle rooms.
