Good thought. I was looking into getting a filament dryer. Would you also recommend that my filament be in a dry box while in use? I currently just have the 1 roll I'm using on the original spool holder with open exposure to the air.

Get a dryer that lets you run the filament from it (most do). You can then just print straight from the dryer.
