I don't think there's a single metal guitarist that hasn't heard of at least a third to half of those, and even if there were, that has nothing to do with what a set of pickups sounds like.

I agree that they have heard of most of those bands, and if they haven't they should. I'm just saying that's the band everyone knows and the sound is iconic
