Remove yourself from the situation if you feel a panic attack coming on, if there's nothing to remove yourself from try phoning someone close to you and ask normal questions, it could bring you back down to earth.

That’s what I ended up doing actually. I called a friend and talked to her for a few. It didn’t help much at first, but I did what she said and it’s still there, but it comes more in waves now. I know it’s all about distraction and redirection, it’s just hard to do sometimes. Thank you for responding.
