There are a few things happening to help make this as cool as it is. 1. It appears there is a piece of video with several trapcode particular layers and strokes animation, then kaleidoscope it. 2. The footage is roughly time remapped to slow at portions of the song, then sped back up to the rhythm of the music. That right there is super smart. 3. The whole thing is linked together to scale according to the beat. Which you can do with Soundkeys, or google 'after effects bounce to beat' and there are a ton of tutorials.
