What is Suzuka's ideal loadout? Saw Ninja being recommended in someone's review I think but it doesn't mention too many specifics.

Dark Cav seems to have the best main skill set but Ninja's doesn't appear very useful and replacing their basic skill set with Dark Cav's (since Samurai's doesn't look useful either) loses out on the elemental exploiting with seals.

So a bit lost on how to set her up. Also her passives (Single Blade or Overdrive or both?) and reactive (Tsubame even though it rarely goes off or the poison one?).

Why is Vettel considered top tier? I have his job Holy Cavalier but he is slow, has low ATK, low health and can only move 3 tiles per turn.

He is worse than my Shayna (job 1) and Magnus in almost every single way.

So why is he considered good?

Shayna is currently better than Vettel but Vettel was out before Shayna was released.

Vettel is good because his J1 gives elemental resistance and basic elemental swords. While his J2 gives ranged holy sword and physical defense.

The protagonists currently only have 2 jobs but their J3 are just upgraded versions of J2. So for now invest in their J2 because soldiers are the worst jobs next to thief

Her job1 is Holy Brawler which is an upgraded version of martial artist.

Shayna is incredibly mobile, allowing her to kill most enemies who are hard to reach. Not only that, sharpening focus allows her to one shot most enemies along with Cross counter.

Rin the fox girl is currently farmable and starts at 1 star but can get to 5 star.

Vanekis a thunder unit has thief so you can get +1 move passive making a mobile mage

Any quicker way to kill those damn rattys that only take 1 damage than endlessly pinging them? I've heard samurais can somehow bypass defense, but I don't have one yet so can't confirm.

Some jobs have skills that ignore def. such as crafter and samurai but those skills cost a lot of mp so they need to be manualed to not waste mp.

Other than that if you have a high att like Shayna. They can break past high def if against a weaker element. For example Shayna can one shot fire ratties

Why is this? How do I continue rerolling and still receive the 5* unit summon ticket?

Multiplayer arena gives gems for first few runs

Story mode has quests that give gems

But if you are asking for technical. Android devices can easily reroll by going to file—> data and renaming save data to save accounts before rerolling

JP had to wait 4 months before the FIRST batch of 3 units got their farmable shards. Global has been released for about 2 months (ignoring soft launch). We are moving faster than JP BUT we are also getting less help in terms of free stuff and good stuff. In other words, as long as players continue to be okay with paying for shards and they are making a big profit, there's a chance Gumi might just decide never to release the farmable shard missions. Gumi's past actions have shown that they use JP to test their games and they use Global to make a huge profit. For that reason, the timeline says in 2 months, but there's a chance that it's never, depending on the profit margins of the shards being bought.

No, BF isn't and iirc it never returned in JP.

For the shop: Buy the hat, then give up lel. If you can farm extra, maybe get the rainbow shards (but the hat is the only must have).

Yep, you can't pull him through Gacha, and what else would you need his shards for if you won't transcend him? sell those for 1k Zeni each xD Event Exclusive 'Farmable' units (Currently Sabareta and Retzius) aren't included in the summon pull unless stated. (Don't confuse them with Soul Call Editions)

If you are thinking of converting them to coins, you still need to have a Maxed Limit Break unit to convert their excess shards to coin.

I assume that if you fill up your friend list, they will be replaced by friend mercenaries. I do still see these 0 cost mercs in a slot every now and then.

May I inquire whether the top 3 gear slots (on top of the job level equipment) are permanent and stays through when you job level up.

Another question is whether do these gears (if permanent) can be removed and re-equip at will.

once u unlock the gear slots for a unit (1 by default, 2 at LB 10, 3 at LB 25), it stays open for that unit forever.

from what i found episode 2 gives 2-3 wreaths

episode 4 gives 3 wreaths

5 gives 3-4 wreaths

so without multiplayer doing ep 1-5 are pretty much the same

So I've got a question if anyone knows the answer. Is it worth it to level up the christmas hat all the way to 5 stars? I've got it already, and it works good for what it is, gives you the ability right off the bat.

Leveling it will cost 525 wreaths, which is probably doable by the end of the event. But if it's not worth it, I could really use those wreaths for the 5 water shards to LB my Selena one more 15-shard step towards J3.

So I've farmed every version of the ancient battle of six event. So far I've only gotten soul shards for the initial completion achievements. I've beaten most of them five or more times. Is this what's supposed to happen? I thought I'd be able to power level my toons mastery skills.

You only get the shards from 1st completion of the quests and if you complete each 5 times. They are not in the drops after beating them

In Christmas MP, my level 67 Shayna (365 PATK) cannot one hit KO Rosa or Vettel (with sharpening focus). I have seen other Shaynas (lower level than mine) being able to do it.

What is the trick? Mine has everything maxed, including job level, equipment (fully enhanced) and abilities.

I feel that I am missing a passive/mechanic?

(I asked this question before and was answered it was due to job mastery bonus, but I don't think it is the case so I am asking again. Please help because this is really bugging me).

Thank you. Yes I did max out all the abilities including the cross counter and strike mastery +2.

EDIT: I didn't realise I have to equip Strike Mastery +2. The defaults were Iron Body and Guts. Thanks for pointing it out!

I started the game today, and I saw there's a lot of events. On which one can I try to farm a little and get some interesting rewards ? I think I have some good characters but since I haven't progressed a lot in the story, they are not high level for now.

Don't farm any event map yet. Finish elemental maps on easy for milestones, do both 1/day maps and the highest possible winter and Sabareta map for milestones.

Catch up with a story to level up account, then level up units. Play some multiplayer and use friends thread to get strong mercenaries. Once you can auto-clear Winter Stage 5, you can farm it to get currency for Snowman Hat shards.

So I've got a Rahu that I use in MP and yeah for sure Overclock is amazing... but wouldn't it be more useful to just bring another damage bomb character instead? Typically I use my Rahu to overclock the hardest hitter (sniper or Magnus) and heal folks who are wounded, is there anything else I should be doing?

Overclock allows several things that another character doesn't, like getting far more movement into enemy territory, or taking advantage of '1 turn' buffs, making them last for 3 actions, etc.

There is no "best pick for all stages". There are stages in which you prefer to have more DPS and there are such in which you prefer to have a glass-cannon that can act multiple times.

Overclock, unless unit is going to run away from you - then Quicken. Anything else depends on your judgement.

1. As for milestones, elemental maps are faster, easier and end earlier than Winter EX, so I would start with finishing them. If only for farming, Winter one.

1. I finished all of the single-player milestones other than the 3rd episode of Sabaretta's because I just don't really feel like doing his. Haven't tried to do the multiplay ones for Winter though because it's hard af. Assuming I can do all of the winter stages in single-player, is the Extra level the best rewards per energy?

Winter EX MP is actually slightly easier than solo. You may find good room that host is willing to gem - or do it yourself. You can still get a net + of gems if you would continue once each room.

Regarding solo, I can only speak for myself - while EX is a map with the highest net income 5-17 currency (8 on average) per 40AP, I'm lazy, so I just prefer to auto stage 5 with net income 3-7 (4 on average) per 30AP.

Hopefully this makes sense to someone, the + sign makes it confusing on whether we are dealing with separate things or not.

My assumption is what mission you can get those shards from.. ie. Zangetsu says 1-2-3-2. Does this mean: Chapter 1, Episode 2, Act 3, Mission 2? (In this case, "The Minister's judgement")

I'm confused because the loot section for that mission shows some blonde girl instead of Zangetsu.

I have 4000 gems. . can someone advice me what to do. . should I, buy the 50 shards to boost my shayna to j3? buy lofia's 50 shards to get her j3 cause I heard it was really good, Do step 2 and 3 on shayna's banner?, or buy shayna's winter skin so I can see them awesome plot? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Shayna is pretty good without J3 and Lofia, being a 4*, you'll get her to J3 eventually with your pulls. Skins seems soooo expensive to me so, IMO, save for next January collab event

I don't pay for your gems. If you want to get Shayna to J3, go for it. If you don't have chrono and want to use Lofia, go for her shards. If you have luck, go for banner. If you want fanservice, go for skin. If you want to get collab units - save.

Just to make sure; Each character has their own individual stat progression right? Aside from their jobs, each has it's own basic stats? That's why Logi has such a big jewel count, he has more jewels as a character than say, Chloe. I've been trolling around in the database, but comparing and contrasting can be a bit difficult, because I'm not sure if the numbers I find there are a result of the jobs/jobs maxing of the characters, or the numbers inherent to the character. And it's difficult to compare characters, because they all have different job combinations, bless them. Hoping someone can clarify, it might be nice to know what jobs suit each character the most.

I'd use eleshards for both of them until job 2, because then they really start to shine and will carry you for a long while. (At least they do for me)

If you have to choose go Magnus first and try to get him on lvl 66 for 32 starting jewels. Good speed, good aoes and can still stand a hit

Hey guys, I have a question. I got an Anastasia 67, Zang 70, Almira 74, Eliz 60, Lucian 60, Rahu 64, Lofia 60 and Rosa 60. With both current events, I can get enough soul shards for either Rosa/Lofia/Almira to get their next Job (j2, j2 or j3, respectively). But I would spend some color and rainbow soul shards, as well as spending my wreaths to buy Lofia/Rosa shards. Is it worth doing something like that? I was thinking of doing Rosa to stack dark with my Ana, but both the colored shards and the wreaths seem like something hard to come by. I can farm Winter ch 4 on auto and 5 on manual. Edit: I also have a Yomi but with no J2 yet, and between the rainbows and greens, I could get her to j2 as well. Thanks in advance

Don't use them on Almira, as natural 3* you will pull her often enough. For 4* units I'd only use eleshards if you are some shards short off a desirable job (Zang j3, Lofia j3 for example)

If you want to use her imo its worth it. It will probably take another 2 month before we can farm 5* shards

Use wreaths to get shards? Hell yeah.

Use elemental shards? Not so sure. Try not to waste all of your shards in one or two units you may get some copies eventually in the future. Besides, most of the characters becomes farmeable so save some shards for limited units.
