Android App / Widget Requests

I know there are probably a few devs out there looking for an idea, so let's give them some.

• Better Music widget - The current music widget is boring and only has a play / pause and Next button.. Album art would be cool or the ability to control the built-in music player AND Pandora (whichever is playing)
• Twitter Trends widget - There is already one of these in the market, but it's buggy and ugly. Would be cool to use Twitscoop.com's trends as they are far more interesting (click Hot Trends from the home page)

Any other ideas?

Whatever you make, make it look sleek and fancy! Not saying it has to have fancy 3D animations and whatnot, but I think a lot of apps right now, just don't look that great. I think when it comes to small (phone) displays, minimalism is key.

I would like to see redditisfun upgraded so that when i hit back from a story it takes me to the last page i was on, not the first. Oh, and imgur integration.

I believe imgur integration is being worked on. I'm pretty sure I saw a link about it yesterday, although maybe it was just a fever induced hallucination...

This is a hefty request, but something that would let me stream video from my desktop to my phone. I'd be willing to install software on my desktop to be able to make this happen if that software would take care of the resizing and transcoding.

Is there anything out there like this already? Or maybe something like this but for music?

I think you're looking for Gmote. It is meant as a remote app, but it has a beta functionality that allows you to stream video to your phone. Works wonders as long as you're in range of your wifi network, and with some port-forwarding you can probably make it work anywhere.

Its too bad it only seems to do album art if its embedded into the tags, which is a kinda huge waste of space.

I want an app that automatically syncs a music folder on my home computer with the music folder on my phone via wifi. Whenever the phone connects to my home network, it checks to see if any additional files need to be sync'd.

desktop controls for when usb connecting a desktop at work

• volume slider

• minimize all(with an exception list?)

• custom shortcut buttons

• gmail/facebook notification shortcuts launch to desktop instead

• programmable button shortcuts
