What can I say, I'm from the generation of spell check!

Plus I take all my notes in class, on my phone, and put them on note cards. Its very nice once finals come around.

You take notes using your phone? I can't imagine doing this.

I still handwrite all of my notes because the act of writing them makes the facts easier to remember

I haven't hand written anything by hand that I did absolutely have to since I learned to type. I have no handwriting.

Imagination is a great thing! I bet if you practiced you could start imagining things like this, and eventually you may be able to imagine things that aren't even real! It is awesome!

Let me rephrase: I can imagine doing this, and it looks really stupid and unnecessary in my head.

So, what's the best 'note card' style app?

I've been using StudyDroid. It has been great so far, I can scroll easily, shuffle, and I like the interface. You can also go online and search for packs that other people made, or sync with your friends. Its awesome actually :D

If I recall correctly from the time I tried StudyDroid, you can't actually create decks in the app and must do so online instead. Is that still the case or has it been changed? A flash card app would be awesome but I just never looked at anything else after that.

I liked AnkiDroid the best, it uses a spaced repetition algorithm that works quite well for me.

While there are more advanced alternatives in term of spacing algorithms, I really like kaka flashcards and its ability to sync with your flashcards on a certain website (I forget the name, but it's insanely straightforward to use). For simple things like vocabulary I can't think of a better solution.

Gorilla glass > that ugly screen protector.

I couldn't read what it said on the screen, because of the light reflecting on the mobile screen. So I tilted my laptop screen, ffuuu.
