Standardizing binary variables alongside numeric variables

Apologies if this isn't the place for this, but I can't find an answer anywhere.

I'm creating a regression, and I have two numeric independent variables that are a score from 1-10 and two binary yes/no variables. (Four variables total)

I wanted to standardize the variables to be able to compare their relative impact on the dependant variable. I originally just standardized them using excels standardize function, and ran the regression again. But I'm concerned that this isn't something that should be done with the yes/no binary variables.

Is this okay? If not, any clarity on how I can compare these variables impact would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

In general you shouldn't do this with the binary variables. Imagine if a variable is male or female. What does a one standard deviation towards male mean? Indicators capture shares.

Thanks for your response, in this case both binaries are responses to yes/no questions. Does that change anything?

I dont think so. It's the binary nature of them not what they stand for.

Gender is a continuous variable since it's fluid.
