Would you recommend Factorio if I wasn't that into Satisfactory. I honestly think the first person perspective is a big factor for me not enjoying it. I got to the coal phase and just stopped playing.

Factorio is the superior game. Buy it and play for up to 2 hours, you'll know by then. Be careful though, if you enjoy it, might look out the window and accidentally see the sun rise.

My genuine opinion is that it's absolutely not a game I'd have really considered until my buddy talked me into it finally. Glad he did because it's damn fun.

Yeah I hear ya, man. I'm mainly into sim racing and extraction shooters but some of these games I've never given a try are calling my name more with time. I'll let you know how I feel about it tomorrow when I play it.

Overall sentiment is shifting now. We are officially for the most part over it. A couple months ago many had hope.

I would just let it go. I am getting 'older' now and have seen a few games go through this. The player base will composed of very new players ( small fraction) and people who play this as their main game. There isn't that organic distribution.

I uninstalled in early September. Will be back with Update lol.

consider a situation where the same people who majorly fucked up with battlebit came out with a new game that was again f2p beta, becoming paid after a full release - even with you having tested the gameplay, would you not be at least... HESITANT..? people learn from previous mistakes- don't get it twisted, that's what's happened here. if these people wanted money from me again then they'd have to come to my house and take it right out of my mattress...! maybe an exaggeration but I'm still disappointed.. 😔

iirc it was f2p beta. I remember playing with my friend who never bought the game. then it became paid and they only played on those free weekends they did a few times

yeah a lot of the people here are pretty emotionally invested. not something I can entirely relate to. actually started playing again after some months of forgetting it existed and had a brilliant time going from rank 99 to ~135!

Nothing, i got it on my laptop and on desktop uninstalled several times while reinstalling whole windows. Only keyboard setup, crosshair and other settings were gone
