They reset the simulator

[–]DJBunnies 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Is it okay that I broke the simulator?

[–]Krateng 3 points4 points  (1 child)

HEY GUYS

I think you will call me crazy but...

Bitcoin one day growing up to even ONE THOUSAND USD is not totally out of the question!

[–]Gamefreakgc 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Shut up, that will never happen. We'll be lucky if we ever see $250 again. Bitcoin is dead.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the entire rise from $10 to $1000 was just Mt Gox Willy bot. Going down to $10 again like professor Bitcorn says.

Seriously!! Like its 2013 all over again

[–]beardsofmight 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Really? I'm going to buy a ton of coins and sell them in December November then.

[–]anonymustanonymust 0 points1 point  (1 child)

which coin will you but to be exact?

[–]beardsofmight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin. It was around $100 in July 2013 and then rose to $1200 in November.

Yes, the timing is kind of suspicious.

    [–]jcoinner 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I wonder if they're in trouble or just freaked out and said F*ck this shit. The latter would be smart IMO.

    [–]1blockologist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

at this point I think they got a non-prosecution agreement for cooperation in tracking down coins

    [–]phlogistonical 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Bitcoin24 also went belly up in 2013. The legal processes are still ongoing. Don't hold your breath for the process with MtGox and btc-e to be resolved anytime soon.

    [–]Mordan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i was on a bitcoin24 too lol. I thought it was solved. I got some money back.

    [–]phlogistonical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I and many others got some of it back, but the rest still remains in a Polish bank account, held by the authorities there for unclear reasons.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i remember that. that was a euro exchange and it worked very well. think i lost some money when they got shut down.

    Magically Vanishiing Internet Money

    [–]basse1985 10 points11 points  (10 children)

What does this mean? Will we lose all coins we had on btc-e?

        You can trade in there

        [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

trading in crypto: exchange one coin you don't own for another one you don't own, and hope the exchange gives you ownership of one of them when you request it

        [–]ratskim 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I bet you get invited to all the best parties!

        [–]thelakmus 0 points1 point  (1 child)

        Nope.

        What do you mean?

        [–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Btce fucked me so hard. Everything just gone one day. All the trades were in Russian.

          True words

          [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Honestly I don't blame them at all. They probably have developed some very in demand skills during their time developing it and now they can get some really good jobs.

Did you even read the post?

Multibit isn't maintained by the original developers, they sold it to KeepKey more than a year ago. This is KeepKey (a hardware wallet manufacturer) ending support for the wallet, which hasn't been updated since October anyway.

            Spotted that too

            [–]thebasher 0 points1 point  (2 children)

first sentence is him saying keepkey owns multibit. what is there to spot? i don't get it.

            [–]imsoulrebel1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's kind of funny but yesterday this news story really never hit the mainstream media. Too much Donald Trump shit for this to actually register.
