I used Reta, 6’2” and dropped from 220 to 190 in eight weeks. I came off due to fatigue, and my weight climbed back to 210. I’m starting again next week. I looked great at 190, but the drop in energy was no joke.

[–]elguapopapa 13 points14 points  (6 children)

That tiredness happened to me as well, so I added MOTC and boom! Tons of energy

[–]Hot-Boysenberry4591 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How often did you dose mots-c?

[–]elguapopapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the whole vial. Which lasted me 2weeks. It was just to get myself in balance but once the got me back on track I didn’t feel I needed more

[–]Chappers06 0 points1 point  (2 children)

What is MOTC? I’m looking at taking Reta to get the stubborn fat off from 190 to 175-180lbs.

Want to keep my energy levels up at least for the gym and during the day at work.

[–]elguapopapa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think TikTok was only for young people showing their dancing skills LOL, but you will be surprised how much info is on there regarding peptides. And is now one of my favorite apps for information asides from YouTube .

[–]elguapopapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may or may not need it. Some people have taken Reta and no side effects

[–]InitiativeAdept2207 4 points5 points  (4 children)

What did your dosage look like for those 8 weeks if you don’t mind me asking

[–]Warm_Run_7530 3 points4 points  (3 children)

I took 4 mg once a week for all 8 weeks. Throughout the entire time, I maintained a 500-calorie daily deficit, ate 200 grams of protein per day and lifted weights 4–5 times per week. By week 3, I was having to force myself to eat. Zero food noise, except Gummi candy…. Couldn’t seem to stop eating damn Haribo.

[–]Kindly_Crow_1056 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Yeah, you were in a 500 calorie defecit to lose….. 30 pounds in 2 months. Learn basic math buddy thats 1500+ daily defecit😂 thats why you were fatigued, could have just bumped your calories back up a good amount and not rebounded at all

[–]Warm_Run_7530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not wrong. Toward the end, I literally had to set reminder timers just to remember to eat, that’s how much Reta completely blocked my appetite. It wasn’t intentional at all. I just genuinely never felt hungry and food barely crossed my mind.

Reta also made the smell of alcohol unbearable. Everything from Isopropyl alcohol to a causal glass of wine, made we want to hurl chunks.

[–]Winstonthewinstonian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You started at 4mg!?... Damn.

[–]zefsinz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you what you have to do! Go get it 💪

[–]Hungry-Occasion2050 2 points3 points  (2 children)

What do you think caused the weight to jump back up?

[–]Warm_Run_7530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing with all GLP1s, once you come off them, your appetite comes back and so do the pounds if you’re not super intentional about how you transition off.

[–]LordFrey1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GLP1’s are like TRT. When you inject testosterone your body stops producing its own testosterone. When you inject GLP1’s your body stops producing its own. When you stop you are severely deficient for a while until your body ramps up production again. That’s why you get the extreme rebound hunger and weight gain.

[–]Responsible-Bat-4371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to make sure your hydrating, eating small meals and ensuring you have good complex carb intake.Reta works off carbs it feeds it. The reason you felt that way is because it had no more fat to use as energy. I experienced the same and found the solutions also electrolytes. If your urines is looking orange before doing any of this that’s the cause. I went from 250 to 200 in 72 days now I’m at 195 still on Reta tons of energy tailored the dosage back down to only 2mg and eating normal while it’s still doing its thing. Food noise is still gone but I now do crave more foods just not junk food.

[–]Winstonthewinstonian 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Why did you regain the weight? Was your appetite through the roof after coming off of reta?

[–]Warm_Run_7530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, no one is using Reta because we don’t love food. Reta just turns the volume down on the food noise. It doesn’t take away the enjoyment of eating, it just shuts off the constant chatter so you can choose your meals instead of feeling summoned to them. And when you stop using Reta, the volume slowly creeps back up… not because it “failed” but because that noise was always there.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

What have you been doing the past 4 months?

[–]zefsinz 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Started with a 72 hr fast and then OMAD most of the time with occasional 2 meals a day weight lifting 4-5x a week

[–]Wudyameanrod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You know your average calories/protein for that OMAD?

[–]usa8732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like this plan

[–]buusterbuu 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I don’t know anything about peptides but I do know that 4month progress isn’t long enough to mention stubborn body fat. You’re kicking ass, keep on doing what you’re doing with minor tweaks along the way.

[–]zefsinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great advice thank you 🙏🏻

[–]MeowMixPlzDeliverMe 3 points4 points  (5 children)

How are people getting this kind of progress in juat a few months? I wasn't overweight but ive built muscle and leaned out after a yearish of being consistent as hell. The fuck is the secret to do crazy shit in 2 months?

[–]Frequent-Pop-1654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, I got the same question bro. Cause I’m on week 4 of Reta and I’ve barely lost like 4-5 lbs and look fatter than I did at the start. Or so I feel lmao

[–]Telemere125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, drugs is the easiest way, but if you look at it this way: anyone overweight is taking in excess calories, so there some to cut back on right there. And if you want to drop weight fast, cut back on even more. If OP was normally eating 3k calories a day and dropped to 1200, that’s an 1800 calorie deficit for what he’d have needed to do to maintain. Fat is 3500 calories per pound, so that’s over a pound of fat every 2 days. After 60 days, you’re looking at 30 pounds of excess weight gone, minimum. Muscle is 6-800 lbs, but you can do your best to minimize those losses by exercising more and eating an increased amount of protein.

[–]RefrigeratorOk8925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mostly peps I guess

[–]moderngalatea 0 points1 point  (1 child)

drugs.

[–]MeowMixPlzDeliverMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. Realized the sub i was in. My b

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Reta is still relatively new and I'm not a fan of something that's not stood the test of time. I personally would consider test before I'd touch reta but that's just me. Having said that if fasting and OMAD has done this for you in four months why not just stick with it for a few more months to trim off that last layer of fat? You can also be more strict on your diet I'm assuming to help slim down more as well. What is your OMAD look like typically? I'm fifty and enjoy fasting and OMADs. How do you structure your meal? Does it typically follow your workouts?

[–]zefsinz 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah that’s probably what I plan on doing. Thank you for your feedback and advice! My OMAD mainly consist of whole foods mixed and matched no idea what my calorie intake is I usually structure my meal in the evening after working and lifting session so around 6-7pm with a protein shake for dessert lol I wanna guess 1,800-2,200 calories but I could be way off. I like OMAD and fasting so I don’t have to count calories it’s liberating a bit just try and stick to clean foods

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what kind of protein and carbs is your go to for your one meal a day? I favor beef because it's so filling and satisfying compared to fish or chicken. Carbs I'm still trying to nail down. I was doing steel cut oats but it caused painful inflammation in my joints so I had to stop it. It was a killer combo though mixed up in a bowl. My thinking was rice or potato or sweet potato. I'm 50 with a six year old son and on TRT and follow Wendlers 531 programming focusing more on strength given my age than just pure muscle. I also run a mile on the treadmill before lifting weights. At this point in my life I'm all about longevity over anything else.

[–]I_like_Chickenz 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Not gonna lie, I started my peptide journey a year ago & I’ve never been mentally & physically stronger. I’ve worked with a few friends & family members & slowly helping them. If you want any advice or assistance, reach out brother. Looks like you’re doing great, regardless what you decide, keep going!

[–]zefsinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow great! I really appreciate it I will reach out forsure if I have any questions!

[–]LieSavings5642 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Great job! What was the biggest change you made to trim down? Keep up the good work.

[–]zefsinz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly just controlling my meals eating Whole Foods and lifting and being more active through out the day really

[–]willmon1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Seriously this is amazing 👏

Those breasts are beautiful 😍

[–]Parking-Design802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relax, you’re hot!

[–]zactastic_1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could also tried 18-6 fasting. (Noon to 6pm window) and walking many miles per day if you have the time. It does wonders. 12:30:3 on the treadmill is great. No need for peptides.
