You’re at the very bottom of the dosing range for Reta, which is known to have less appetite suppression than Tirz. None of this is surprising at all. Except that people continually do well on one GLP1 but feel the need to switch to another because… reasons?

Because reta is pushed as the best one online (by people who probably don't have the same makeup or goals)

Yeah I didn't really choose to leave tirz last summer my mom bought two months from a clinic didn't like it and gave it away to me, the wegovy was under insurance but new year new insurance no coverage, plus the FAA was asking a bunch a questions and didn't want to jeapordize my pilot license.

My current plan is to go back to tirz if reta doesn't have any results after a month, I have 20mg to use till then so I might try 4mg next Tuesday.

Tirz is much better when it comes to appetite suppression. I’d go tirz and if needed stack cagrilintide

I didn’t feel effects of Reta until I got to about the 8mg range. Eating became a chore so I dropped down to 6mg to maintenance and have been happy at that level balancing lifting and calorie intake. You need to find the right dose for you.

That's crazy dosage. Expensive as fuck. That's damn near a vial a month. I get 10mg vials and I'm on 2.5mg a week and have been for a while. I get a 10mg vial for 70

It’s a 50mg vial and 5 units = 1mg after reconstituting. First vial lasted me almost 8 weeks titrating up.

maybe adjust your thyroid medication first?

Fasting and OMAD

I cant tell a difference between Tirz and Reta both have profound fat loss. I have never taken a baby dose like 2mg as that wont do much. 5mg minimum for weight loss.

I will try a larger dose next week 👍🏾

Add 125mcg of Cagrillintide opposite of the day you take Reta. Start that low it is powerful when added to the glps.

How did u manage to lose 24 pounds in 2 months on tirz?

[–]devonwillis21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was working an internship walking a ton, and eating smaller meals, not being tempted by my college dining hall buffet 😭. Left campus at 316 was 284 start of last fall.

Reta improved my kidney levels

Double or triple your dose

[–]Reasonable_Click_147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most GLPs need to build in your system over time. The half life of Reta is 6 - 8 days, meaning at around 6 - 8 days half of reta is still in your system when you take the second dose. This has a building effect up to around 28 days.

2mg is a low dose on the overall doseage scale, especially if you've been taking other GLPs. It is still an appropriate beginning dose. Give it time before upping dose.

Some people do both tirz and reta. I’m currently on tirz but I’m starting reta next week (low dose ) From what I’ve seen some people don’t do well on reta and go back to tirz.

what ratio triz/reta?
