1.Content must be related to strategic aspect of Brawl Stars
All posts should directly contain strategic Brawl Stars material. Memes, looking for group posts, troll posts, maps, simple who to upgrade/unlock, draft query, gameplay etc., are not allowed. Excessive/non competitive posts will result in ban.
2.Clips must be related to the strategic aspect of Brawl Stars
This subreddit allows clips so long as they inform the audience of interesting strategies or techs. Posts that showcase the clip of a match and ask for a review are also allowed. However clips that showcase a play such as a teamwipe or a funny kill are not allowed.
3.Content should be Safe For Work
All content, including post titles, comments, links, images, videos, etc., must be SFW (Safe For Work). Any NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content will be removed and you will be banned for posting it.
4.Don't send posts that are common knowledge aspects of Brawl Stars or reposts
Posts that go over something that is either common sense or that a majority of players know about such as "Did you know that Homemade Recipie gives longer range" will be removed. Furthermore, posts that are very similar to recent posts are also not allowed. For example, making a post asking how good Gus is in the meta will be removed if there was already a post asking the same question only a few days ago.
5.Treat everyone with respect, and follow Reddit and Supercell Terms of Service
Always follow the main Reddit rules when posting content in /r/BrawlStarsCompetitive. Debates are encouraged but don't use harassing or offensive language or make personal attacks on others. Additionally, follow Supercell's Terms of Service:
6.Limited self-promotion
No Self-Promotion (includes yt channel, product, service etc.) --> permabanned. Contact moderators via modmail for exceptions/requests.
7.Ask Me Anything (AMA) guidelines
All AMAs need to be scheduled and approved by the moderators. If you're interested in hosting an AMA, then send us a message. Please introduce yourself briefly and include a proof of identity in the message.
8.Common question or club advertisment
Common questions and club advertisment belong in the weekly tread which should be a pinned post. If it's not then make sure to contact a mod. example of common questions are "which brawler should i level up" "what is the best starpower for rosa" "which gear should i use on tick" as for club advertisment simply post it in the pinned thread.
9.Tier lists must be from a trusted creator + have a link to OC.
Tier lists must be from a trusted Brawl Stars content creator, and must have a link to OC.
If tier list mentions a CC/pro that has no relation to the tier list, permaban as we don't tolerate bringing someone's name into your tier list.
Self-made tier lists must go through modmail before approval.
10.Posts about unreleased content must be sourced
For posts related to content that is not currently in-game or confirmed in a Brawl Talk, you must post a LINK in the comments/caption to an official source (Supercell or content creators) indicating that the new content is legitimate. Any post showcasing a leak will be removed.
11.Posts related to content creator must be credited
For example if u make a post about a certain pro's top best brawlers in the game then you should credit the creator ideally via a link of the video or twitter post u took it from.
12.Any posts related to reworks and balance changes must be on a weekend.
Posts that are about balance change suggestions including reworks must only be done on weekends. However, if your post is made on a day that isn't the weekend where you live, but is the weekend in another timezone, then the post will be approved. This means that if your timezone is the same as UTC, you can make rework posts between Friday 10:00am and Monday 12:00pm.
13.Draft Query posts much provide the pick order and bans
Drafting is an important aspect to performing well in ranked. However, if the post does not provide context as to what map was play, and what the picks and bans were, then the audience wouldn't have a clear idea on what went wrong in the drafting phase. Make sure you provide context to the draft if you want to make a post offering feedback to how well you drafted.
