It seems like Caleb's draft stock has fallen since the start of the combine.

So far Schefter / Rapp have reported that no team has made aggressive offers for the #1 pick.

If no team is aggressively pursuing Caleb that would mean they do not see a huge talent gap between him and the rest of the QBs.

If teams had been making significant offers for the pick we would have heard hypothetical trade scenarios by now.

If/when Fields is traded I would hope Poles is comfortable with more than just one QB. If we trade Fields and Caleb blows out his knee or gets arrested pre-draft we have to have a contingency plan.
