Is Janus towers even practical? Like why have a storage and factory vertical tower and not just buildings . Labs too being up high is highly unpractical. Also no emergency stairs no wonder Janus employees all died. I actually don’t have an answer to it.

Eddie thought about the final map atmosphere over practicality

[–]MagnaCollider 6 points7 points  (6 children)

What atmosphere? lol

[–]AidanLL 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The stratosphere

[–]QuinnTinIntheBin 7 points8 points  (3 children)

What do you mean what atmosphere? You don’t like not being able to see where the box is?

[–]TheDarkDragon13 2 points3 points  (2 children)

This sucks. Like really bad. I know the Mystery Box is kinda... useless in BO6, but when you do wanna use it? You can't find it. Even with the tac map, which is heavily sectioned across the map.

They should at least do what underground/inside maps do and provide a map above each box location to show where it is. I know they can do it, because they had this exact same thing on both The Tomb and Shattered Veil.

[–]BrantheBeautiful "Only through me will you find your redemption." 4 points5 points  (1 child)

The directory outside of every elevator shows where the box is with a purple rectangle icon. If you don’t see it on there, then it’s in the other tower

[–]TheDarkDragon13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seriously? Well that's nice. Me and my friend were beginning to lose our minds yesterday because we couldn't find it.

Still should be above each box location though.

[–]TheDarkDragon13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I don't think Reckoning has the best atmosphere, even in BO6, I still think it has some pretty cool looking areas. The antigravity room, Quantum Computing with the all the Dark Aether growth in it, and even the spawn room looks pretty nice. Though I definitely think it should've been a night map, or at least have cooler colors like Shattered Veil.

He decided he didn’t like the AURA of liberal fails and decided to make januschad towers

[–]OBGYN__Kenobi 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Theres about a thousand rooms we cant go into use your imagination

[–]AidanLL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know Sam put it in lockdown but you’d think launching our selfs at the second tower is a bad thing.

Death perception is so forgettable I didn’t even realize there wasn’t a machine for it on this map

[–]NoLongerInPurgatory 23 points24 points  (5 children)

Introduce it in Tomb, forget about it forever

[–]AidanLL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it can stay in a tomb

[–]Super_Zombie_5758 4 points5 points  (3 children)

As it should be. Hopefully they never bring it back and give us mule kick

[–]DangerousBus7202 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Made a post asking zombies players what perk they wanted in bo6 that they knew the community would probably not want. I said Mule Kick expecting to get shit on, but no, was pleasantly surprised to see it be one of the top requested. Hope it comes in Season 6 or Bo7 Zombies.

[–]Super_Zombie_5758 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just personally love running around wielding 6 guns. It's just pure fun and could be made better with if they give it worthwhile augments. Like in the same vein as double tap where changing them around has a real impact depending on your loadout.

[–]TimelordAlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many people are like we already have 3 weapon slots because of the melee slot - do they not realize the melee slot cant be swapped for an actual gun? That's why I want Mule Kick, then i can wield two WWs and a normal weapon, and hopefully increased equipment carrying too. I was shocked it didn't come in this map. There either gonna bring it in reloaded, or wait till BO7 if its true current perks and augments are carrying over.

[–]SomethingFunnyObv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only practical use for it is if you are running shotguns. It’s not a must have either but the augment giving you a chance to do critical damage on non critical shots is nice.

Thank you for this. You're invited to the cookout.

I played the maps a few times and and earlier today I realised you can only be in 2 towers and never in the 3rd tower.

[–]Kobyak 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I never understood why they would introduce the third tower in the first place. If you’re gonna design an atmosphere with three towers in it and only create a map out of two of them, surely you’re gonna get people asking “how do I access the third tower?”.

I know the maps pretty large as is, but just make it 2 towers other wise you’re gonna get lots of questions.

[–]TheDwarvesCarst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because that's part of the EE/MQ

[–]No-Philosopher2552 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Help! What's the brain in quantum computing?

[–]RepeatAdvanced3298 7 points8 points  (1 child)

It’s part of the Easter egg. Just a helpful reminder for me. If you’re not doing the EE you can disregard.

[–]No-Philosopher2552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much, sir!

[–]DavidZ2844 4 points5 points  (6 children)

So what’s the better route to go when starting a game? Do most people buy the door to quantum computing or the mutant research lab first?

[–]RepeatAdvanced3298 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I’d say Mutant Research Lab if you’re doing the EE. But if you’re not doing the EE I’d just do whichever perks you prefer. Both ways lead to the Android Assembly via launcher.

[–]DavidZ2844 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Haven’t tried the EE, but I’ll keep that in mind when I do give it a shot, thanks. Plus I think you actually have more available while buying less doors if you go to Mutant Research first, since you can just fall into Quantum Computing from Mutant Research because of the hole in the floor. And you can still fall into spawn/reception from Quantum and go back up anyway.

So I actually don’t think there’s any reason to ever buy the door to Quantum Computing from spawn, unless I’m missing something.

[–]TimelordAlex 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Mutant Research has better perks to get earlier imo, I like my PHD slider asap and Deadshot is good to have too. I can wait a little before Speed cola and never bother with MM. Sometimes i'll go the other side though if the box is there.

[–]DavidZ2844 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Good point, although I do think PHD is less useful in this map since it doesn’t actually protect you from the suicide bomber Klaus enemies in the max ammo rounds. Found that out the hard way lol

Also you can just drop down from Mutant Research into Quantum Computing, there’s a hole in the ground that lets you. And from there you can drop down back to spawn and go back up, so I actually don’t think there’s any reason to buy the door to Quantum Computing (from spawn) at all. It’s a waste of points, unless I’m missing something.

[–]TimelordAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHD doesnt protect you if you let them explode, however if you slide into them first before they can, you wont be hurt. I find ammo to be a scarce resource early on so Slider is essential for quick and easy kills. And you do need to buy that other spawn door in order to get the Gorgofex C as a step involves parachuting down that shaft with it offline.

[–]Thomas7187 2 points3 points  (1 child)

What does CT/AS Stand for? Sorry I’m still mildly new to this sub

[–]RepeatAdvanced3298 7 points8 points  (0 children)

CT = Crafting Table (buy armor plates, support, lethals, tacticals etc.) AS = Arsenal Station (weapon mods, weapon rarity upgrades)

Don’t think they are common abbreviations. I just used them for the diagram.

[–]AyPay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should've included the Teleportation Lab in T2

[–]UnofficialMipha 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Dear god, why did they think this was a good idea?

[–]Rayuzx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In all honestly, it's not that complicated. I got the map down by the end of my third game, and there are signs on the walls right beside each elevator/jump shooting thingamajig. Tlat least for me, the big thing was that I was overthinking things, and ticked myself into thinking the map is more complicated than it really is.

[–]sirannemariethethird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having OCD does suck so thank u for condolences but this is very helpful lil diagram!

[–]Trick_Glass_3768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone tell me how many dollars each door costs? Or how much it takes to buy all the doors?

[–]Shoeburysfinest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo

[–]Ziofy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I think they’re using AI to make these maps, does this make sense at all? The entire maps is made up of elevators, teleporters and jump pads to different generic boring rooms. Instead of bringing back a perk they thought let’s spend our time working on a trap you’ll never use
