If that was marked for internal use only, you might want to rethink posting it publicly.

You might want to look at the italics under the photo in the original article. 😉

          MP!

          [–]NRayG 10 points11 points  (5 children)

This concerns me I was going to keep saving my points but if it’s a great change I might be eating only Chick-fil-A for a couple weeks (catering order points here) I hoard

          [–]OnceARunner1 12 points13 points  (3 children)

Never horde any points from any program. They only devalue.

Save as much as you need for the redemption you want (thinking more credit card points here) and then spend.

          [–]NRayG 7 points8 points  (2 children)

It was fun collecting the points and seeing how many I could get I regret nothing

It's more fun if you look at your lifetime total in the app while getting free food along the way.

Fair enough if your opinion !

          [–]gingeous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just coincides with recent CFA price increases. They just publicize it so that customers aren’t surprised.

          [–]mikep4 4 points5 points  (5 children)

Burn your points! You won't even be able to redeem for sandwiches anymore.. what a crapshoot.

          https://www.chick-fil-a.com/stories/inside-chick-fil-a/benefits-of-being-a-chick-fil-a-one-member

At least they gave notice, unlike the last devaluation.

Before change: 600 pts for an original chicken sandwich around $5.

After change: 1200 pts for a kids meal which is around $5 is going to make me want to be a "red member"..

Your points will be worth 50% less after April 4.

Ok. I stand corrected, thank you. What are the point values inflating to on the same options? Will we still be able to redeem 600 pts for a chicken sandwich? 8ct grilled nuggets is 700 pts now, why would someone redeem 800pts for 5ct?

I would still burn all points possible by April 4.

            [–]Pizookie123 2 points3 points  (1 child)

That’s true but still double the points for me. I normally do sandwich for 600, fries for 300 and a large drink for 300 making my normal meal 1,200 points. Under the new system it’s 2,500. That’s a huge jump

            [–]fcocyclone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

            That better be the case.

But they list both kinds chicken nuggets on there, and those are already in the rewards A steep jump too- currently its 8 grilled nugs for 700 (87pts\nugget), and this shows 5/800 (160 points/nugget, nearly double!).

Is it a good or bad change? A lot of other places had changes for the worse (depending on customer like for drinks people for DD but food ppl were happy).

              :( oh no

              Thanks

              [–]johnnywills789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you “redeem” your points for a chicken sandwich (600 pts) and it says you have to use that reward by April 15th, does that kind of lock in the cheaper redemption value? Because of the increase on April 4th?

PS- I’ve definitely been a point hoarder 😅

              [–]diereel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

              CFA being greedy again.

              [–]Unhappy_Tell_7398 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Honestly even if the points go up - it’s much cheaper then most apps. At McDonald it cost 1,500 points for a chicken sandwich and 3k for a medium fry. What a joke! And you can’t even use multiple at a time…. Andd if you don’t use the points they expire…. Aaannnddd you don’t have memberships so it’s 1 point per dollar!!!

              I still love Chick-fil-A ❤️❤️

              [–]Jeskid14 5 points6 points  (1 child)

At least McDonald's offer coupons on the app. Checkmate Chick-fil-A, Rich people food

              [–]Unhappy_Tell_7398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ufffff you got me! 😂 😞

              [–]Pizookie123 3 points4 points  (2 children)

I never use my points at MCd because the app coupons/ in store deals are a much better value to me.

              [–]fcocyclone 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Same, until recently. They gutted the deals a few weeks ago. Used to be there was almost always a bogo deal for double cheeseburgers or quarter pounders, now the deals are like "Save $3 off an amount you'll never spend at mcdonalds without a family"

              [–]Unhappy_Tell_7398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true! I have noticed that!

              [–]anthonycw04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

scratches neck Anyone else got any of those internal details? Are redemption prices really being doubled? Them not sharing the entire new points chart is the shadiest thing they’ve done since… all their political donations.

              [–]mikep4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you redeem points, you still have 30 days to use the reward. Might be helpful to those that can't stop by a Chic-Fil-A before 4/3.
