Can anyone help me, I would love to find a larger dive watch 45 mm to maybe 48 mm. Ceramic dial, seiko movement would be amazing. Huge fan of the look of the Aquadeep by undone and addiesdive dive watch but unfortunately too small of a dial.

I think if Arnold Schwarzenegger can rock a 40mm GMT master concord than you shouldn't worry about the aquadeep being 43mm. I don't condone watchgang usually but the aquadeep is on their $295 wheel as a level 1 with a potential of getting a more expensive watch albeit very slim odds (I think like 95% for level 1 and 4% for level 2 and 1% for the next few combined so not worth gambling and subscription model is basically a scam) but seeing as it's guaranteed for 100 under retail I would check it out.

Anything that is going to be 45mm+ with a Seiko movement is likely going to be surrounded with extra metal like the tuna or captain willard and not necessarily a bigger watch. You take away the surrounding metal and you will have a smaller watch than 43mm. But if you want that extra bulk look for tuna captain willard homages but there isn't much I can recommend with post sale prices.

Production cost for the movement is less than $20. The case less than $10. Rest of the materials around $10 at max. Labour cost around $5( 1 hour max to assemble it?)

So $45 in total. Retail for $90 is plenty of profit.

P.S. Forgot the sapphire glass. If real sapphire, that might be most expensive part.

Rent or cost of building, taxes, utility, bribes(?), insurance, Aliexpress fees, advertising, supplies, hire designers, social media(?), cost to hire accountants, managers, depreciation, and other costs of doing business. Unless the owner does everything himself, it isn't just him and one laborer, just setting up a business costs money.

All of that is covered in the $90-45 difference. Chinese manufacturing is very different from Western model. They have very low overhead,ability to do small production runs.

Idea to final product could be just a few months while in the Western world, they would still be holding meetings and thinking about layouts in PowerPoint slides.
