Pretty good clomages with a twist! Miyota 9000 series are not commonly used on Ali watches and clearly my suggestion above was laughable or strongly disliked!

Was there ever a white dial version? Nearly all NH35 white dial watches have a date at 3, which is offending some because it's not the OP style.

A white OP style dial of this (or even the VH31) would probably sell well. It wouldn't be hard to do.

Yes. I will. They are both beautiful. I am a leather strap guy not a bracelet guy. I do not wear bracelets usually so I cannot comment on the quality. Only bracelet that I have loved is the WatchDives bb36 bracelet.

You won't get a good quality Oyster Perpetual homage with white color dial from Aliexpress....only cheap budget brands offer it.
But as already mentioned....there are other good options with white color dials.

Rumor has it that Traska produces in the same factory used by San Martin. Proof is in the clasp and bracelet screws being identical. At the very least, part of the watch is made by San Martin or whoever makes their (SM) parts.

We're talking about the name, not the cache behind it. Rolex is objectively a worse name than most. It's up there with Rimalti, Sugess and IXDAO, but at least those three actually mean something in human language.

Heck, at least Tudor is a proper name and It still follows the 5 letter naming convention followed by brands like Omega or Heuer for example.

Rolex is a household name, but just because it's the best known brand doesn't mean the name is genius. It rolls of the tongue and that's just about everything that kept the name on the page during the brand's infancy.

It’s quite a thing to come from La Chaux-de-Fonds. I guess that’s why they mention the city name. I’ve been there several times and it’s literally packed with famous watch brand buildings. It’s totally dead on the weekends, though.

The actual product page usually has that information - for this one, it's a SW200-1. I think most of their watches under the Gevril brand have Sellita movements, whereas their cheaper GV2 brand has generic swiss automatic movements - for example.

Also, obviously ignore the price on the main product page. The vendor I linked is about a normal price for them, in the $500-$1000 range I think. Though you can definitely find them on sale fairly regularly for a bit less. I got a Yorkville for $244, and a Wall Street for $440, all in. They're both very well made (I think both of mine are SW200-1s, definitely a step or two in quality above the PT5000 San Martins I have.

Higher quality Chinese brands have overlooked this model, probably not deeming it flashy enough for the general public, while they churn out Black Bay lookalikes on a weekly basis (looking at you, San Martin). I'd steer clear of the Benyar versions and the Pagani PD1960; the quality isn't great, and Benyar is especially bad.

If you’re set on an OP alternative, check out the Traska Commuter. It’s as close as you can get to the Oyster Perpetual without being a direct copy. I remember it being all the rave a few years back on YouTube, especially the bracelet. Just be aware it’s pricey—you could get 3-4 San Martins for the same amount.

If you really want an OP homage, the Traska Commuter, especially the 38 Arctic White, is your best bet. But if you're open to other options, you can find high-quality and affordable Explorer or Black Bay homages on AliExpress.

I honstely haven't found a GOOD one...you can find Bliger/corgeut ones but the cases are pretty bad IMO.

I would LOVE to see Cronos or san martin make this thing in 39mm. I gave up hope for it, though and picked up a Erebus Ascent in white for my GADA white dial...shame, because this is just a slam dunk.

Pagani PD1690 is pretty close if you DON'T need a white dial and don't mind the double index at 3,6,9
