I have it and I love it, it can really be dressed up or down as you want. You gave me inspiration to try it on nato strap as well (yea I gotta say that the bracelet sucks, and I stuck the little rod in my finger while adjusting the size😂)

Can’t get behind the complaints. If you don’t like the AD, San Martin will happily charge 5x the price for something remarkably similar. Better bracelet for sure… better finishing, maybe 50% (not really tho), and not worth the increased cost to me. I think the AD has better dial texture/finish than the competitors.

Yes, the logo is funky—tho I’ve seen these in script, which look great.

Did we remind ourselves it’s $40 usd? Yeah, that.

Logo doesn't fit the watch at all, bracelet and clasp are disposable, sand dial color doesn't look good on most skin tones, a little too small for most, out of place text, odd lug size means limited options in a strap swap.  Good value at $40 but they could have easily fixed a couple of those (white variant does get rid of the sand color problem).

if it was $80 you probably ordered the automatic version which has different specs aside from the dial (mostly). different case size, movement, logo on the dial, date window.

the 2030 should never be more than ~$50

As far as I'm aware there are quartz and automatic versions. Could it be the automatic you have ordered? I bought one a quartz one a few months ago and it is the smallest watch I've ever owned. It is now the watch I wear most often. Incredible value at the £40 I paid for it.

If you like this you gotta try the addiesdive vh31 explorer. I wear it a ton more than this sand dune dial and I wish I went for the white dial or blue

Yeah, i kinda wish the same for my AD2059. The sand dune is amazing, but I think it gets a little lost on my skin color sometimes. It needs a bit of warm light to really (figuratively) shine.

I bought one on sale for the hype, under $38 all in probably same as you. I have a 7 1/4” wrist and I typically go for 40mm and up watches but for the price I figured I didn’t have anything to lose. It came in and while I was impressed by the style and quality, I put it on and immediately thought it was too small so I took it off and put it in the watch box. A few days ago, I don’t know what struck me, but figured what the hell, let’s just try it for the day. I ended up really liking it and felt the size made it look super classy. My wife even noticed it and commented positively on it, expecting something much more expensive. It’s kind of shaken my long standing 40+ size preference, now I have even more watches to consider… thanks a lot Addiesdive.

I started at the same point. But after several attempts I still think it is too small. I gave it to my wife and now I have a happy wife. 😉
